Review: I wasn’t really sure how well my cats would like these as they’ve never had a toy quite like these before, but they’ve generally been fairly popular. They don’t really chew on the sticks, though they did rip off some of the raffia on either end, so I’m not really too convinced of the claims of them improving the cat’s dental health. They more bat them around and toss them into the air. I think the primary thing that attracts the cats to them is the gall fruit, which has a catnip-like effect. There are two sticks that have bells on instead of gall fruit (and also have feathers instead of raffia) and they’re much less popular with my cats than the ones with gall stones (though part of that might be that I cut the bells off, as I don’t want to risk a cat breaking a tooth biting on a metal bell.)Overall, while I don’t think that these sticks are going to do much in terms of tooth cleaning because cats just don’t gnaw on stuff the way dogs do, they still have been fairly well received by my cats because of the smell.

Title: Cats love them, but be careful with the bell/fray!
Review: My cats absolutely love silver vine, and these toys are no exception! They play with them a little bit while the rope is wrapped around, but as soon as they get through that they are crazy about the silver vine sticks underneath. The only con to these is the attached bell and the straw like material on the ends. I cut those parts off of my toys as they cause a potential choking hazard, or a stomach problems with a costly vet visit if swallowed.

Title: Good quality cat silvervine chew sticks but no sealed package
Review: These silvervine chew sticks for cats are good quality and my cat seems to like them,, although I was not impressed with the packaging since there was none and they were loose in the shipping bag. They should have at least been sealed in a baggie to retain freshness of the silvervine smell instead of just being loose in the shipping bag. Two of them have small bells on them which don’t work and the others have a hard piece of gall fruit on them so I cut them off to keep my cat from possibly swallowing them if they got loose from the piece of twine holding them on. The twine seems wrapped good around the sticks which my cat eventually removes but that shows he is playing/chewing them to hopefully help clean his teeth. I have ordered these elsewhere in the past so I know my cat likes these and I recommend them for other cats also.

Review: My younger cat is enthralled with these sticks. She chews on them and plays with them daily. I love the material because it’s like a portable scratching post. And they are durable–she has chewed quite a bit and they haven’t fallen apart.
