Title: Works good, maybe some latency?
Review: Worked perfectly out of the box, plug and play. I tried to update the drivers via Windows update, but it said it was already the latest driver. There’s a short link on the instruction booklet, but to me that looked sketchy so I didn’t opt for it, at least not yet.I was able to hook up my left and right switch joycons to this Bluetooth receiver. The computer was able to recognize the joycons perfectly. I downloaded BetterJoy from GitHub so that I can make the two joycons act as one controller versus them being independent controllers and that seemed to work well too.Something I’ve noticed though is that there seems to be some latency for my joycons when playing a game RE4 on steam. Sometimes my input from the joycons will double input, so going through the menu was sorta annoying, and sometimes the menu didn’t respond. Not sure if it’s the software of the joycons to turn into one, or the game, my computer, or this Bluetooth receiver. Maybe downloading that sketchy driver will help, but I’m going to mess around with other solutions first.Even though the controllers experienced some latency, I’ll give this USB Bluetooth receiver the benefit of the doubt since it could be because of something else and will still give this product 5 stars. Overall it works, connected my tech, and with that said I’m happy enough.

Title: Added a lot of range for my headphones
Review: I work in an open office floor plan, and I often walk to the break room or to my manager’s desk and those are *just* at the end of the range for the built-in Bluetooth in my laptop. I use a dock at work and just plugging this in to my dock has made all the difference when I need to make lunch or ask my boss a question. Unfortunately this didn’t quite work as I wanted for my personal laptop (and dock), but with my work-supplied laptop (which has had not only its Bluetooth fail, but also the Hello camera stopped working) this has worked great. I had to disable the built-in Bluetooth on my personal, which wasn’t feasible as I use the laptop at home as well and got tired of turning the Bluetooth on and off when I went from work to home and vice versa. But on a machine that doesn’t have built-in Bluetooth, is a desktop that doesn’t move around or on a computer where the Bluetooth is already broken? This thing is a great upgrade. I honestly don’t know if this has a true 500′ range as I don’t know how far that would be from my desk, but for less than $25 I’m really happy with the range this has added for my headphones at work, and other than the Windows issue (has nothing to do with this adapter’s abilities – it’s totally a Windows problem) I have been very happy with this adapter.

Title: It works
Review: I did have to disable my motherboards built in Bluetooth to test this one out. It was easy and I’m not switching back. the extra range was evident as i could hear my head phones in the other side of my house. My mother bord wouldnt give me that range and would have all kinds connection issues. I havent had a problem with it all. My experience has been worth the current $16.99 price tag.

Title: Bad range, intermittent connections
Review: I got this to get some extra range for my PC’s Bluetooth headset – this adapter, despite being BT 5.4 and having an actual antenna, had WORSE range than my old BT USB adapter! In addition, I had the connection drop twice in an hour despite sitting literally right next to the adapter. I am disappointed.

Title: No trouble
Review: The range was, indeed, vastly improved! I was able to maintain a connection about as far away from the antenna as I’m able to get in my house, downstairs and through two walls. It starts to lose connection when I go outside but I’m more than happy with the range. It’s also BT v5.4 as advertised; some of these adapters are fake but this one shows up as a Realtek chip with LMP 13.51041, with LMP 13 corresponding to 5.4. Though I don’t actually have any other BT 5.4 devices to connect to it, 5.2 is the highest I have available. My one initial complaint is that the antenna cannot rotate 180°, and if your USB-A ports are horizontal with the tongue piece on the bottom, the antenna won’t stick straight up but rather at a 35° angle from vertical. Probably doesn’t matter, but it is kind of annoying. I had a problem where my earbuds suddenly had terrible audio quality but that turned out to be a result of windows using them as a communications device or something; unpairing and repairing fixed it and it’s back to high quality audio. Definitely not a problem with the dongle, which I remain very happy with.

Title: Good Range
Review: Got this for my work computer that bluetooth failed. This ones range is far longer than the old one which I pleasantly surprised as I figured it would be longer range but wasn’t expecting to the degree it is! Work in a lab so I need to talk to people on teams as I wonder around different parts and this was able to reach all areas with out loss of audio were before it would definitely drop in areas. Its definitely not the smallest adapter so if you are planning on being more mobile this might not be the best option but for a more fixed device its a definite must

Title: Plug & Play Bluetooth USB dongle works without needing any additional steps
Review: This dongle is truly plug-and-play as it was recognized right away by Windows 11 without any need for installing drivers. It discovered and paired with my BT devices without problems. The size of the antenna is about the same as you would see on built-in internal wifi cards. Overall, very happy with its functionality.

Title: Not as good as advertised
Review: I received this blue tooth adapter antenna as part of the Amazon Vine Program. I wanted it to use with my wireless headset and my TV but my TV would not recognize the adapter. It works with my Computer but I do not see additional benefit to the normal computer bluetooth. I get about the same range with both. Even though it sounds like a great device I did not find it to deliver what is advertised.
