Title: Excellent camera at a great price
Review: I bought this camera for scuba diving and snorkeling and the camera has worked great. The videos are extremely clear, and stable. I was nervous about the case cracking when diving, but I did not have any issues when diving down to 60 feet. The camera is very high quality at a great price. It also comes with a ton of accessories, so it can be mounted anywhere.

Title: Great value for the price.
Review: This is my first camera of this type. I bike, kayak and off-road, so this camera will definitely come in handy. There was no way I was paying GoPro prices as I will only use the camera for personal use on a limited basis. My first impression of the camera is very positive. It has plenty of features and the image quality is very good, in bright light. The kit comes with a lot of good accessories. I already have a mini tri-pod for my webcam that I can use, but it would be nice if it came with a mini tripod. With the money saved buying this camera, there are plenty of options for accessories, including extra batteries.I purchased a 128 GB mini-SD card even though the manual lists 32 & 64 GB cards are compatible. The camera recognized it and formatted it without issue. The 128 GB card allows for about 4 hours of video at 4k30fps.The not so great – the camera is only so so in low light situations. I don’t plan to use it often in those situations and I knew this before purchasing. So not a deal breaker. One issue that is a pain, on one kayaking trip where temps were in the upper 90s, the camera shutdown because it got too hot. Understandable, but the only way to get it to come back on after it cooled down was to remove the battery and miniSD card and hook up a USB cable with 5 Watts and 2 Amps power source. The camera came right on and I was able to reinstall the battery and miniSD card. Although also not a deal breaker, I need to remember to bring a portable charge that can charge at those specs in case the camera overheats again. All in all, it is a great buy. It was priced at $140, but has a $25 off coupon when I bought it. It’s a really nice camera that really captures the great moments when our in nature.

Title: A fun, surprisingly capable camera at a great price
Review: I purchased this camera to take on a three-week road trip, simply wanting something I could use to shoot the occasional video that could preferably be taken into the water. I ended up using this Akaso for so many things I hadn’t even planned! Not only did I use it to take photos and video while swimming, I also made time-lapse and high-definition dash cam video of most of the trip. The long exposure still photography mode is also great for taking images at night (like the one above, a minute long exposure.) I’m sure there’s still things I could do with this camera that I haven’t even discovered yet.I really love that the camera came with a full set of different enclosures and mounts, some of which I still haven’t even used. It’s fairly simple to change the camera from a tripod mount to a dash cam to a bicycle handlebar mount, and I really enjoy having this degree of flexibility without having to buy a bunch of add-ons.My only complaints are that the touch-screen interface is a little awkward sometimes (and can’t be accessed while the camera is in the waterproof case) and that the battery runs out pretty quickly when shooting video at the higher definitions and framerates. While I appreciate that this camera came with a spare battery and a charger, it still required a lot of planning to make sure I had enough power to keep taking video. More sensitivity on the touch screen and a higher capacity battery would be nice improvements. All in all, I wasn’t expecting a lot from this camera given the price and was pleasantly surprised by how useful and capable it turned out to be. A great purchase if you’d like to take video without having to spend an arm and a leg.

Title: Awesome Camera for the Price
Review: I was looking for a action camera to take on a family vacation. I originally started looking at GoPro’s since that’s what most people know and/or would recommend. I love watching all those hardcore sports videos of people motocross racing, snowboarding through the mountains or gliding through the alps in a wingsuit… Let’s face it, Redbull doesn’t sponsor me for my extreme vacations. I can’t justify spending that kind of money on a camera that I will use a few times a year….or better yet, let one of my kids use and drop in the ocean. Our vacation has long past and I have owned the camera for about a year. No, it wasn’t dropped in the ocean but that’s because I was smart enough not to hand it to a 8 year old. As others have mentioned, the picture quality may not be as good as some of the more expensive cameras but honestly, unless you record something side by side with a better camera or video production is your life, you won’t notice a difference. I think the quality was perfect for what we used it for… in fact, the 4k is probably a bit overkill but does look incredible on a 4k TV. Image stabilization work as expected but be aware it doesn’t work at the high 4k resolution and higher 60fps settings…again probably overkill so it wasn’t a concern of mine. We did record some slow motion videos of the kids…your typically jumping in the pool and swimming videos. The kids thought it was cool…and I did, as well. The touch screen is easy to navigate and understand. It didn’t take any paging through the book/manual. I did noticed some flaky response time from the screen from time to time… or just completely not responsive. It was almost like the calibration of the screen was off.. For instance, I would select an option but an option to the upper left ended up getting selected. It took a couple restarts and it was back to normal. I only noticed this when I first got the camera and haven’t noticed it since. The waterproof case is exactly that….water proof. Works as expected. The button combinations take a bit of time to get use to since you won’t have access to the touch screen while it’s in the case. If you want to change any settings of the camera while in the case, it can take a while. Once you figured out the button combinations, it’s not a bit deal. All the accessories are great. Many of which I haven’t even used yet but are nice to have when needed. You won’t have to buy anything extra. The extra battery was also welcomed. I thought I was going to have battery life problems being out all day but rarely needed the extra battery. Granted, I wasn’t recording constantly and would turn it on only when needed.I have already recommended this camera to friends and coworkers and would definitely get another one, if I lost this one. Overall I have been very happy with the quality and value….and it’s even cheaper now then when I bought it.
