Title: Interesting, funny, intriguing and sometimes makes you roll your eyes! Worth watching for sure.
Review: This is a great show and it keeps you wanting more. Sometimes you love the millionaires and some of the millionaires make you want to shake some sense into them. Either way Patty shapes them up or ships them out. Very entertaining for men and women alike.

Review: Debuting in January of 2008, Bravo’s reality show Millionaire Matchmaker features Los Angeles based Patti Stanger and her staff, attempting to find love matches for the members of her exclusive “Millionaires Club”. Season one contains seven one hour episodes. Each typically features the charismatic Stanger working with two clients, almost always men, who are millionaires in need of some assistance in the romance department.The rich and wealthy often live by a different set of rules, and this reality show explores that premise as it applies to romance, particularly from the male point of view. Matchmaking is an age old profession, and Patti Stanger, who is Jewish, states that she is a third generation matchmaker with a success rate of over 99%. Although she falls well short of that mark on the program, Millionaire Matchmaker is a lively and entertaining show which is often fueled by Stanger’s strong assertive personality, and intuitive instincts. Patti does have an ability to assess people and situations. She often makes snap judgments, occasionally speaks of astrology, and frequently offends people, by making comments that are too direct.Prospective clients typically send in a video to the agency, describing themselves, and what they are looking for. These submissions are screened by staff members Chelsa Autumn, Destin Pfaff and Alison Standish. This is usually followed by a face to face meeting between Patti and the client, where she both sizes them up, and gets a clearer understanding of what they are interested in. When necessary, Stanger makes recommendations to her clients, or has them consult with one of her “specialists”, to make them more presentable.Women are screened at the agency for a suitable match, with Patti typically having some amusing or provocative things to say. When a sufficient number of prospects has been found, Patti arranges for a mixer with the two clients. Each client picks their two favorites, and after having separate conversations with them, selects one to go out on a date with.The dates are where things leave the standard format, and can go from the routine to the extraordinary, or even bizarre, as being millionaires, the clients can afford to do some extravagant things. Some dates are exciting and romantic, while others are kind of mundane. Sometimes there appears to be real chemistry between the couple, but occasionally it will be quite awkward. True love connections appear to be rare, but it still makes for some entertaining viewing, as events often do not play out as you expect, and just being rich in no way assures success in affairs of the heart.The eclectic millionaire clientele are a big part of what makes the show such fun. The men are often interesting character studies, with particular personality traits. There is great variety, as some seem like regular guys, while others are arrogant, lack maturity, or seem to lack sincerity. Some are romantics, and others are shy, or seem clueless about romance. So there’s lots of variety to go around. In subsequent seasons, Millionaire Matchmaker featured female millionaires, but in Season 1, the clientele was exclusively men.An episode featuring bachelors Jeff and Julien, provides some interesting examples. Jeff is a “rocker” type, who made his money in software that Patti recommends have a slight makeover. Jeff’s flies his date in a private jet to Santa Rosa, to visit a winery. Things go well on the date, and a relationship later develops. Julien is a refined fellow, who seems a bit uptight, socially awkward, and despite his wealth, lives with his college buddies. Patti has Julien see a relationship expert, to get some dating tips, but unfortunately it does not prevent the date from being pretty much a disaster.Both Stanger’s clients and those chosen as prospective dates, agree to abide by “Patti’s rules”, the most preeminent of which is, no sex without a committed relationship. The rules are not spelled out, but when someone breaks one, it can become an issue.Millionaire Matchmaker was renewed by Bravo, and remained in Los Angeles for Seasons 2 and 3, which each featured 12 episodes. For Season 4, the agency relocated to New York, but returned to LA for the fifth season. Hopefully fans will see these seasons released soon.

Review: I loved watching this! Patti Stanger is so fun! I love her business sense plus she’s very intuitive! I am ready to buy season two now season one could’ve been longer in my opinion!

Review: Awesome show! Love it! So funny!!!! I’d really show suggest watching this show. Of course, it’s not as good as the later seasons and it’s not in HD, but it’s still good!

Review: I love this show! If you like Kardashians and other reality shows, then this is for you. It’s almost like a documentary actually, the way it shows you each millionaire match. So addictive and great fun!
