Title: beautiful bottle, light scent

Title: One of the classic men’s scents
Review: Imperials, and its stablemate, Du Coq, are classic men’s scents. My father and a couple of brother-in-law always war it. It is manly, citrus-y, and it evolves as the day goes on. A great men’s cologne, timeless. The bottles are beautiful, too.

Title: Scent of Heaven
Review: I have used Guerlain Imperiale for over forty years and have found it in varying size bottles from tiny to huge. I’ve watched the price go up as well, the bottles shrink in size, and the number of stores stocking it vanish to mail order. But, the search for it is always rewarding. It has a lemony fragrance and when worn, speaks of cleanliness and the smart tastes of the man wearing it. The ladies always ask, “What are you wearing?” And, that doesn’t mean clothes. It is always well-worth the price. Not very many upscale fragrances for men have stayed on the market for as long as Guerlain Imperial has.

Title: Elegant Timeless Classic
Review: My father splashed Guerlain Imperiale on his face every day. His was in a beautiful large cut glass bottle with a glass stopper. When he was done shaving he’d pat his face with it. I spray this sometimes to remember my father but I also think it’s a marvelous “unisex” lemon/lime fragrance. Very refreshing. Perfect for summer. One reviewer said it smelled like a Gin & Tonic. I think that’s about right. A G&T that’s being sipped in a wood paneled library or Victorian pub.
