Title: Great battery duration, somewhat durable… but only for about 6 months.
Review: These are a great set of earbuds with decent quality sound that have a very long battery life (10-12 hours, legit). That is the primary reason for my 5 stars. My use is unusual. I use them for sleeping, to listen to gentle rain and thunderstorm sounds all night long. (I live near a major roadway.) I sleep on my side mostly, so it’s always one ear in, one ear out, with the “out” side just laying near the pillow. Every time I wake and switch sides, it’s almost instinctive now that I switch which side is in (the one away from the pillow). No manufacturer makes a 10-hour battery ear bud that you can sleep flat onto a pillow (Bose makes a set that comes close for comfort, but they play their own crappy 20-second loops, not a BlueTooth connection to a source, and it only lasts a few hours before needing another charge). They are durable for the most part, but I guess during sleep I may stretch that loose end a bit, so inevitably, the flat wire cord seems to sustain some internal damage. After about 6 months of use, sound comes and goes unless you hold that wire “just right”. And then it’s out completely, and time for a new pair. The product itself has hundreds of knock-offs. Check the USB connection. This one has a standard, newer USB-C type. Some of the older ones use their own proprietary connector or the really old type, and they tend to fail faster. The rubber buds sometimes come off in the middle of the night (from the loose end), but that’s on me. Fun to find where it went, in the bedding mostly, sometimes rolled off onto the floor. Again, it wasn’t really designed for use while sleeping. But they generally hold tight.Sound quality is excellent. If lying on my back, it really delivers a nice stereo sound. And it’s easy to adjust volume as well. Pairs easily for BlueTooth also.Overall, for the money, a decent product. And one of the better variations available.

Title: PHYSICAL BUTTONS!
Review: As the title of this review implies, these buds have actual physical buttons! That you can push! To turn them on, change a track, raise the volume (one button) or lower the volume (a different button).Anyone who has ever purchased buds knows the frustration of the connection process. Do you take them out of the case first? Should you connect/pair one, then the other? Keep them in the case, then remove once they’re connected?Once the connection issues are resolved, and the buds are properly linked, then what? Are the included earpiece adapters the proper size? Are they comfortable? If not, does the manufacturer provide multiple options, or only the most “common” size?Okay. They’re linked, they’re reasonably comfortable, now it’s time for that first sound test. You have a song you want to hear, or a song that you’ve used in the past to prove their merit, and presto! They either impress or disappoint. There’s never any good enough. It’s one or the other. Then, once they have passed muster or failed miserably, comes the movement check. Can you stand up? Sit down? Move around? Without them falling out? When you need to push them in or adjust them in any way do you accidentally change a track? Pause? Disconnect? The learning curve with new buds from a different manufacturer is typically steep and frequently frustrating. Bottom line: Did you get a good deal or not?!Here’s the deal with these. Yes. They link. They sound terrific. They’re light. They’re waterproof. They have actual buttons!!!! You can push one and turn them on. There’s a pleasant (in tone and volume) voice prompt to let you know what’s going on. The buttons are appreciably out of the way (volumes are on top of the ear stem), so you can adjust the fit WITHOUT CHANGING ANYTHING ELSE, and the sound, yes, including the bass, is attention-getting.Oh. And they cost less than $20! Are you kidding me??Will they last forever? Probably not. Are they good for phone calls? Don’t know. Haven’t tried that yet. Am I happy? Yes. So much so that I’ve purchased backups, in case the price goes up and as an inexpensive but totally no-way-embarrassing gift.Oh. That’s another thing. These buds come with a carrying case! And a caribiner to carrry them with. Neither of these are noteworthy (especially the caribiner, which is ridiculously undersized), but they’ll work unless/until you find something better.Bottom line: Happy.P.S. these buds come with multiple sizes of ear piece adapters, something else buds in this price category typically don’t do. Another win! Did I mention that they sound great?!!

Title: Very Good Headphones Just Not For My Personal Day to Day Work Environment
Review: PROs: Bluetooth headphones work well. Well priced. They have good sound quality. Several interchangeable ear bud covers for individual ear comfort. The controls are easy to feel. The headphones charge quickly.CONs: However, as one who works outside nearly all day, I found the cord to be cumbersome to deal with throughout the day. The seatbelt will press against cord, making it taught, and pulls ear piece out when turning head to look over either shoulder. Also, when carrying items with sling type attachment, the ear piece can get knocked out as sling goes up and over. Also, if one side is not in my ear, the dangling earpiece will get caught up in my clothing, again creating tension on the cord, when in turns pulls on the earpiece in my ear. Also, the included charging cable is extremely short, less than ~4IN. It’s not long enough for anything useful in my opinion.NOTE: Headphones were not used in an athletic environment. Cannot comment on how these headphones will work for someone running or working out in a gym.

Title: Long battery life, super comfortable, great sound, no slip
Review: Wow! I thought I had the penultimate headphones in my Phaiser BHS-530, which I was on my third set (the power button tends to stop working on those)… but it appears Phaiser is no longer in business. So I bought these. The U8 headphones are more comfortable, block external sounds slightly better, have a slightly longer Bluetooth range, and I’ve been listening to podcasts for 12 hours straight and the battery is still at 60%… my Phaiser BHS-530 would have already shut down by now due to low battery. On top of that, the sound quality is better than the Phaiser… a bit more bass and clearer high frequencies.
