Title: Love this book
Review: I found this book to be really enjoyable to read. It was creative and fascinating. I love the way it normalizes the larger story of our lives. I wish these authors would write more of these stories. I recommend this book.

Title: Fascinating
Review: The brilliance of this book is that it offers relatable examples to subject matter that is almost entirely beyond description. Anytime you speak with someone who has had an NDE or OBE, or other profound experiences of consciousness, they almost always struggle to put it into words. It’s frustrating for them to be unable to impart their mind-blowing experiences, and it’s frustrating to the rest of us who are eager to hear what they experienced. This book takes the metaphysical head-on, and offers insights into mysteries of religion, reincarnation, soul mates, soul groups, karma — all the most penetrating mysteries we wonder about. Part of the key to its effectiveness is its straightforward style: we don’t get a lot of characterization, we dive right into the narrative of each story. Each has a clearly-designed purpose, and is concise and succinct. Yet they all have different sensibilities. Some are page-turners, some are cerebral, and some are ruminating (check out the beautifully written “The Falling”).The key here is the credibility of the authors. They are recognized world-wide as leaders in the field of consciousness, and have used their personal experiences, along with insights from contemporaries in their field, to create these examples for the rest of us to wrap our minds around these fascinating but difficult concepts. Title: Stories based an real experiences
Review: Sometimes you can say more with fiction than nonfiction. These stories are set on both sides of the veil, written by someone who lives his life in both places. He knows the afterlife terrain and has insights on how things work. Great stories about life from a higher perspective. Want a glimpse of the Big Picture? I especially enjoyed the story, “Thought Farms.” The bottom line is: the afterlife is no longer a big mystery. Many thousands (millions?) have been there and returned to tell us about it. William is one of them.

Title: Many tearful emotional moments makes it so profound
Review: This book touched me deeply and is just another piece of the puzzle about life. Tells many different stories some about guilt and consequences of one’s actions.Some stories are extremely touching as they tell about the loss of key people in their life, yet there is communication with them to help with the grief process.Expressing love, forgiveness and gratitude will give you so many benefits in this life and others.I wish for more books like this.

Title: Good idea, poorly executed
Review: I haven’t finished this book yet, but so far, reading it is a chore, unlike his highly engaging first book. In this case, truth really IS stranger (and much more interesting) than fiction.His other, nonfictional books add tremendously to what has been said about the OBE. This work of fiction is a well-meant attempt to help his audience understand the OBE by experiencing it through characterization and narrative. It’s a good idea in theory, but, frankly, Mr Buhlman has made the common error of assuming that writing fiction is easy and can be done simply by wanting to.The “stories” in this book read like infomercials on the OBE. The writing is klunky, with characters thinking and speaking a barely-rehashed version of Mr Buhlman’s own nonfictional books. They lack any life of their own. The plots of these short “stories” have no tension whatsoever; each exists solely as vehicle for a point the author wishes to make about OBE. The vehicle, in this case, rather than deepening or enriching the message, only makes it tiresome. What he wants to say here is worth reading, I think, but his message would have been better served up as fresh, direct exposition, than as weak narration. Or, conversely, he should have devoted some of that intense exploratory energy to learning the art and craft of fiction writing.I deeply appreciate the work of exploring, sharing, and teaching, that Mr Buhlman has been doing in his life and writing. This idea of adding to the depth of his message through fictional narrative has potential, I think. Because I respect the authority of personal experience behind his stories, i intend to wade through the rest of them, shifting for any new insights,but the ones I’ve read so far don’t give me much hope of it not being a slog.

Review: Every story rang true to me. I am a man and I don’t cry 😉 but there was a couple that made me cry like a baby, in a good way. I have read now two of his books and recommend both with high honors.

C’est une quête captivante pour partager et enseigner aux lecteurs la réalité de la conscience ainsi que ses nombreuses formes et expressions. “Beyond the Astral ” pourrait être une introduction parfaite à la métaphysique pour les lecteurs novices dans les ouvrages de William Buhlman. On ne ressort pas indemne de cet ouvrage sur le plan de l’ouverture de la conscience.
