Title: It’s A Sad, Sad Echo
Review: Connected immediately to our Genesis GV80–no problem with that. Paired to iPhone 14 Plus–asked to verify a number that doesn’t appear anywhere (LOL), but still was able to show up and be added on my iPhone as a device. Connection of dongle to phone was quick and worked the first time, including displaying of apps on the car’s screen. Now here is the problem with this device any many in this category: when you call out, the person you call on their phone gets the worst echo when you talk–every word. It reminds me of landline calls to Europe 25 years ago. Unacceptable in this day and age, so resorting back to the wired Carplay. As Tom Petty would sing, it’s a sad, sad echo…so one star.

Title: Couldn’t get it to work reliably
Review: Initial setup was surprisingly easy. My iPhone connected just fine and was mirrors on the infotainment display. The problems happened afterward. It would only seamlessly reconnect about half the time I started my vehicle. The other times, the connection would fail, requiring me to re-pair it. Of course, being functional half the time makes this device about a million times better than other wireless CarPlay solutions I’ve tried, which would only work maybe once every 10-20 attempts. Still, if your vehicle doesn’t natively support wireless CarPlay, a long Lightning or USB-C cable may be less convenient, but it will be far more reliable. Oh, and there’s the company posting fake reviews of this product so there’s that.

Title: Works great, slow to load
Review: I’m really satisfied with this product so far. I use this on my 2017 Honda Ridgeline and It works really well. It definitely takes a bit to start up, but once it’s connected it doesn’t seem to let go of the connection.

Title: Works great!
Review: I installed this in my 2020 Hyundai Tucson. Sometimes I want to leave my phone in my pocket but still want access to Android Auto. This is a simple solution. Just plug it into the USB port on your car and connect your phone to it vie Bluetooth. The next time you get in, plug this adapter into your USB and your phone will automatically connect to it. My phone is also connected to my car via Bluetooth, but once it connects to the adapter, the Android Auto takes over.I will note: my car, when off, will still send some power to the USB. That means my phone will connect to my car when it’s off, which is annoying. I just unplug the adapter when not in use and no problems. I’m guessing this is more of a “my car” problem than the adapter problem, so I did not remove any stars.

Title: A beautiful combination of form and function, the unit enhance the driving experience
Review: I have an older model car that has a large touchscreen display but does not have wireless CarPlay. The dealer asked for a lot of money to upgrade it in the last few years, but this adapter has solved that problem several years later. The original wired CarPlay was a safety risk since I had to deal with the wires often. And this unit not only made the driving experience better, but also improved the safety factor.
