Title: Great cameras but GSM customer service is a joke
Review: I have been using stelth cams for well over 12 yrs now and have been using wireless cameras the who time. I’ve had them all over the year, even reconyx cameras. One thing I have found is you don’t have to spend crazy amounts of money to get a great wireless cameras.I currently have over 10 wireless Stealth Cams deployed at any given time and they stay out all year, year after year. These cameras take great pics. I don’t use the video just because I don’t have the reception to upload the big files. These cameras are 940nm so they DO NOT produce the red glow. They are very easy to setup (these days) and instantly upload phones if you have good reception. One of the best things I like about these cameras is the app. It’s easy to manage all you Stealth cam cameras in one location. The filter tag options are wonderful and work pretty good. You can’t set the display to only show pics of bucks and boom, all the other pics are hidden so you can see just the buck pics. The other really fantastic feature of the app is the ability to share cameras. I can send an invite to my hunting buddies or family members, anyone I want and my cameras will show up in their Command app page. They can’t make changes to settings or anything but they can see the pictures real time just like me. The one thing about this is the others have to install the command app and setup an account. In response to the person that claimed it takes 15hrs + to get pic’s. Your having a reception issue. Get yourself a directional antenna. Use you phone and ID the location of your closes tower of the service provider you use. Then aim the antenna directly in that direction. You will notice a massive improvement. I only recommend the directional antennas though. The 360 antennas don’t boost the signal enough in all directions.Last bit of info and one of the big reasons why you pay so much for the reconyx cameras. Stealth cam (GSM) customer support is a joke. GSM is the main parent company for a bunch of other companies and many other camera brands.GSM has a very poor customer service process. They use a 3rd party call center for support. If you actually do get to speak to someone ( it takes hours / days and persistence) they likely won’t know much about the cameras or the technology. Its a good thing they changed the setup process to make it way easier for people that dont do tech work. It’s a very simple setup process and if you have reception then you’ll be up and running in minutes. If a reset doesn’t work they will have you sent the camera in. The company does a great job about getting a new replacement out ASAP.A few things I suggest:1. Get a good antenna to use on the cam if your out in no man’s land. This is not a fault of the camera but is just a reality or being out in the sticks.2. Go to herd360’s site and pick up one of his solar panels. These cameras only hold 8 AA batteries. Always run energizer lithium batteries for best performance but use a solar system with built-in batteries. It will enable the cameras to.run well over 6 months, all will taking over 1k images per day.

Title: Works great in an area with very little cellular reception.
Review: So far a month in and this thing still has full battery power, send texts to my phone within 2 minutes of it taking the actually pic. It’s not a security cam so headlights can make the pics blurry. For a trail cam it works-it’s inexpensive and you don’t need a SIM card for it to work. For $10/mo I get 2,000 pics delivered to my phone. The 1st month is unlimited free pics. I only used 700 so I went with the 2,000 package. I can change it at any time.

Title: No technical support whatsoever!
Review: I’m so disappointed by the incredible lack of technical support from Stealthcam. My camera generally works well and the app is pretty outstanding. BUT, I’ve been unable to ever get a video to download through the cellular network. I’ve had to hold on the phone multiple times for well over an hour only to get someone completely unable to help. They escalate my problem to the next level with the promise that someone will contact me in a few days; weeks later, I’ve still heard nothing. Posting on their website and asking for support is also ignored. I would suggest looking for other brands of trail cams to buy.

Title: Have to reset every day!
Review: We have out her Stealth Command reactor cellular cameras and have no issues with them. However this one will stop sending photos after a few hours, I know due to placement that photo have been taken because I’ve epwalked by it. I have to physically go to the camera at least 2-3 times a day and “sync” it to refresh the connection just to receive a crap ton of photos at once that it never sent. I shouldn’t have to do this’ as it’s cellular and set to send photos immediately. Don’t waste your money and buy a mower rkiabjtw

Title: Good camera for the price
Review: This would be 5 stars but this and many other cameras have a wider detection range than the camera lens so you get lots of blank pictures. There are lots of settings you can play with but still blank pics. Wouldn’t it make sense to have the camera lens a slightly wider view than the motion detector? Seems like they haven’t figured that out yet. Otherwise a great camera.

Title: Great Camera but….
Review: The setup and use of the camera was great, and seemed to work fine on ATT. But.. upon downloading video over cell, and also directly to PC off the card, all video was washed out white. The thumbnails looked perfect! But, as soon as you started to watch the videos they were washed out. Sounds like it is common if you read other threads and reviews. Emailed support, never got a response, so I returned. Unfortunate.

Review: Bought 2 of these from Amazon both won’t connect to the network through the app. Stealth cam support can’t get them working. 1 I’m returning, the 2nd is past the return date. Stealth said they could be dummy cams. Not happy at all.
