Title: Font is not appropriate for Early Readers
Review: Even as a retired K-3 teacher who spent 30+ years deciphering handwriting, this font was difficult for me to read on the first reading. As you can see in the photo, the white type and squiggly font gets lost in the tree. The illustrations are good and the story is great for little boys whose Dads take them hunting. My grandson enjoys baseball and hunting. He is a reluctant reader but stories like this have helped him do more reading and enjoy reading. My grandson shot his first turkey at age 8, so I suppose he would have enjoyed this story more when he was a couple of years younger. I would recommend the publishers make any further printings in a more kid friendly font and give more attention to where the print is on the page.
