Title: Fresh ideas, relatable…
Review: Finally, what I was looking for, lots of photos, fresh ideas and cozy looks. Loved the commentary and explanations the author provided. (Too many other books I’ve obtained have complicated DIY plans: power tools required or lack of photos, monotonous content etc.). All of the rooms in the book are inviting, yet not overdone nor cluttered ~ simple and peaceful theme. Its now my fav and plan to do the same to my home.

Title: Good book, but the pics are all of the same house…
Review: The book is well written and the pictures are beautiful. But I only gave it four stars because I think it would be nice to have a variety of homes to look at, like the Pottery Barn books that showcase 5 or more different design styles. Maybe if the price was right it would be worth five stars.

Review: Took out from the library to check it out. So many of this type of book I just look at photos but this is different! Had to buy my own copy! I’m reading for the second time and it continues to inspire new ideas for newly painted rooms and redesign after many years of the same.
