Title: Package box damaged but has been tested and in good working condition.
Review: The microphone condenser arrived five hours earlier than expected, the package box had minor damage but had been successfully tested with a vintage camcorder I had (Sony Handycam CCD-TRV65, Analog, Stereo, Hi8 format, Released in 1998), and yes, it does fit, and only supports both analog and digital camcorders of any age that only supports the standard stereo format and with a built in hot/cold shoe. Beginners or [vintage] camcorder owners who are looking for a condenser at a low price is the best you can find in the camcorder market.

Title: Not sure if it’s working
Review: I put 3 stars cuz I cannot tell if it’s actually working… I connected the mic to my laptop and phone and I am still trying to determine the functionality. I am thinking it works because the videos sound a little clearer but when I record with my laptop or phone it also sounds clear… I will have to continue testing because as of now it’s not really working. I used an apple adapter to connect it to my phone/ I hope it’s actually working properly but will need to make a more thorough testing.

Title: Great Microphone!
Review: I used this mic to record a friend’s wedding paired with a Panasonic HC-v770 camcorder. I also recorded sound directly from the mixer. The mixer audio was only a little bit better than this mic picking up the acoustic room noise. I had another “cheap” shotgun mic and there was a buzz to it. There is no buzz to this mic. Being rechargeable is a plus. Not sure how long it lasts or if there is a low battery indicator but I was able to use it for 4 straight hours and the light was still green.I saw another review about it not working with their camcorder. This uses a 3.5mm TRS (Tip Ring Sleeve) connector and some camcorder use a TRRS (Tip Ring Ring Sleeve) connector. Basically there are 3 rings instead of 2 rings on the 3.5mm jack. They make TRS to TRRS adaptors for fairly cheap. They should have really included one, but since my camcorder doesn’t need one, I am good. These are mostly used for phones and laptops. If your camcorder doesn’t power the microphone, this is the mic you need. High quality product. The only complaint that I would have is that the cold shoe connector fit is kind of tight so it requires precision to put it in.

Title: Not noticing a difference
Review: I’m not sure what to make of this mic. I got it for my iPhone to make spokesperson videos, but I can’t really tell a difference in audio quality or if it’s even working. The instructions say to charge it and plug it in, and it doesn’t say you need any additional apps or Bluetooth, so I assuming it should just work, but I’m not really noticing a difference. At first I thought maybe my iPhone adapter wasn’t working, but it’s working with my headphones, so I don’t think that’s the issue. Then I thought maybe this microphone is just for camcorders, but the advertisement includes mobile phones, so I’m not sure why it doesn’t seem to be working. The microphone itself is nice and seems well made, and it comes with a usb charger. The mounting piece would only work with a camcorder.I’d say if you have a camcorder it may be worth trying, as I’m assuming I just got a fluke, but if you have an iPhone I’d probably go with something else as it’s not really mountable on it, and I’m not sure that it’s truly compatible.

Title: Decent quality but nothing special
Review: Personally I would use this for filming car content. Unfortunately I did not see any significant difference in quality than the built in camera mic of my Canon EOS.
