Title: Do it
Review: All aluminum, aside from the feet. The ball is really stiff, but can be moved easily once the monopod is on and acting like a lever. The screw fits into the base of a leofoto monopod easily. As someone else mentioned, the 3/8th bushing can be removed. The monopod feels pretty stable once attached. It’s not a small attachment, so keep that in mind for travel packing. It looks like I’ll be able to use it at the desk for a mini tripod too. For the price, and given the quality, I’m very happy with this purchase. If durability becomes an issue I’ll update this review. Given the hefty feel and all aluminum construction I’m expecting it to last a good long while.

Title: Excellent Monopod support
Review: Very happy with it. My only complaint is that it is heavy, and honestly it probably should be in order to support the weight of the camera and monopod. I just wasn’t expecting the weight. This adds to the versatility of my monopod and is a wonderful addition to my kit.

Title: One defective leg would not lock.
Review: The product is unusable for my intended use. One of the legs was defective and would not lock into place when extended. The actual materials and workmanship looked good though. I would certainly have kept it if not for the defect.

Review: I received a defective piece of kit. The cutout in one of the three legs is deeper than the others, so when fully depressed, it sits off-kilter. This problem can be circumvented by moving the ball joint but then I lose the stability of fully locking down the ball joint. I specifically bought this model because I can lock down the ball joint for full stability but that idea is now ruined.If it were not for this one tiny defect I would rate 5 stars because it is a solid and sturdy item. Great build quality apart from the sole defect.Update: increased my review to 3 stars because it’s honestly a fantastic product. I just got a bad apple.
