Title: Very cool filter for practical effects!!
Review: Awesome effects!!! The price is usually a little expensive for me but I had bought this for my short film project. It looks really awesome and almost gives a hitchcock-esque effect. Can’t wait to use this for my film!!

Title: Be sure to use wide angle lens (<35mm)
Review: This is very interesting filter and I was looking forward to using it. It comes very well protected and the quality of the filter seems pretty good. However, instructions are lacking and I was very disappointed with the performance of the filter. I mounted this on Lumix 100-300mm lens hoping that I’d be able to get the effect on a telephoto lens. However, what I got is very low contrast image with light flares everywhere. I couldn’t quite figure out what I did wrong so I was about to chuck it. Then I revisited the listing and though I’d give wide angle lens a try.When I mounted the filter on Lumix 8-18mm lens, I was able to duplicate the full effect of the filter on the listing. I wish they had advised using wide angle lens either on the instruction or the listing as it may be helpful to users. This filter will soften the image just a tad bit but the center circle is in focus while the rest swirls. Depending on your lighting and the angle, the effect could be magnified which is really cool. It’s excellent special effects filter, just don’t forget to use it with a wide angle lens.
