Title: Easily ten times the quality expected!
Review: Got this as a birthday gift, and it was perfect! The hinges are nice and so is the lining inside the box. Really solid little box, much better than I hoped coming from Amazon!Now holds a lot of random trinkets and rocks and things, very well loved! Will most likely last a long time, if you want it, it’s definitely worth the price! The carving design is well done, and very pretty as well <3

Title: Great for Creative Project
Review: It’s a cute little box that inspired me to make a custom music box. Turned out great for my first prototype. The carvings on the box are great. Seems pretty sturdy and has good weight to it. I added the latch as a cosmetic measure and to secure it better. My only complaint is that the stain was over applied, rubs off on stuff for a bit, and it smells pretty strong. Be prepared to wipe it down with some dirty rags or paper towels for a bit when you get it.

Title: Beautiful Carving and Not Warped
Review: My experience with most carved boxes from India is that they warp, seem cheaply made, and do not close/open easily, plus sometimes if there is a felt lining, it is not quality. This one is different, a Pleasant surprise! The carving is beautiful, the box opens and closes very nicely, the red felt lining is in great shape, the hinges are not rusted. Very giftable and also nice to keep special objects in.

Title: Just amazing, especially for the price
Review: A very nice, precision, hand carved hardwood box. Perfect for a jewelry gift, which is what I bought it for. Heavy, which clearly indicates the effort in creating this beautiful little box, and it is good incentive for keeping it forever and passing it down.A small complaint though. There is no latching mechanism, though there need not be one for its intended use. Completely overlook-able. Would very much buy it again. Excellent!

Title: Great Look, but came with excess Stain
Review: The box is beautifully carved, and seems sturdy. We’re using it as a gift box for a necklace.However be warned that it came smelling like shoe polish, so I looked closer and realized most of the wax stain had not been removed or buffed. The box is photographed after I wiped it down (paper towels in photos) and it was quiet a lot of stain. Looks good after a buffing, but be warned it’ll stink and stain your hands unless you take the excess off.Also the lid doesn’t quiet shut all the way, and it looks like the hinge nails are loose and the culprit.Overall not terribly disappointed given that it shipped super fast and wasn’t very expensive. It’ll serve it’s purpose as a gift box, but I’m going to try to fix it up first.
