Title: It works better than I expected!
Review: This unit is a little large I think for a USB adapter, and with the rabbit ears, could be a problematic for systems (laptops especially) where it is exposed to anything that could be dropped on it, like cell phones, soda cans, kittens, children! Mine is tucked away behind my tower in a desk enclosure, so I’m not too worried about that, except for the kitten. However, after installing the drivers for the Bluetooth & Wifi, it works well. The Wifi is my backup connection in case I lose my ethernet connection, so I won’t really put it to the test, but the Bluetooth works flawlessly. It will stay connected no matter where I go in my house. There is no noted latency while watching movies, and though I’ve only had this for a few weeks, I have no complaints. Don’t be afraid of buying this adapter. You can’t go wrong. The kitten? Well….

Title: SCAM! FALSE ADVERTISING!
Review: NOT BLUETOOTH 5.0! Manufacturer spec sheet says this chip is Bluetooth 4.2. Confirmed in Windows OS by firmware revision number.CANNOT CONFIRM USB 3.0! Windows OS states the device is not plugged into a USB 3 port when it clearly is. As you can see from the photo it looks like a USB 3 plug wired only for USB 2. No way you can get the stated 867 Mbs on the 5.4 Ghz band if that is the case, but I am no expert. What I can say for certain is-CANNOT ACHIEVE ADVERTISED SPEED! Topped out at 230 Mbs (on a gigabit connection) at 1 foot away from the router. This is further indication that it is NOT USB 3.

Title: Has it’s use
Review: So… I have a love hate… more hate relationship with USB dongles.They are useful, for times when you need something to work right now.But usually terrible for long term.So this one… I put it on a computer that didn’t have wifi.IT connected, fast, strong works… computer reboots, and it doesn’t connect. But you can manually reconnect it… every single time you turn on the computer.It randomly drops… but it does get the speeds it is suppose to when it is connected.So… as a tool in a tool bag for working on pc’s… this is great… but I ended up replacing the mobo in that computer with one that had built in wifi, and have not had a single problem yet with that.So… yeah, a tool, but not a solution.

Title: Helps wifi reception
Review: I tried this out because I was having a little problem with the wifi connector built in to my computer, the signal was a little weak so I kept losing connection. I ordered this adapter, and since I’ve plugged it in, I’ve had a good connection. The fact that it’s also got Bluetooth is a plus as well, gives me a little more range on my headphones. Give it a try, it does a good job.

Title: Wifi stopped working after a month
Review: I got this device a month ago, and the WiFi suddenly stopped working. There are no clear instructions on how to update the drivers. However, Bluetooth is still functioning fine.
