Title: My son loves it!
Review: My son loves this chessboard! I bought it for him for Chess Club since a regulation chess board was needed. The weight is good. The magnet strength is okay. I love that everything wraps up in one bag. I do feel like the bag could be a little bit wider to accommodate a scorebook. Or whatever that book is that they use writing down the moves. The one I bought does not fit. I would say the quality is decent! There are quite a few people at Chess Club that have nicer boards, but this one is relative to the price. My son is 11 1/2 and this is very easy for him to pack up on the go. I feel like it’s durable and won’t get damaged.

Title: this is a regulation chess set in its purest form!
Review: I can appreciate all of the chess sets that are styled in wood, stone and metal, yet when it comes to professional or unhindered play of the game, simple is better. The pieces are weighted perfectly and the board is simple professional and regulation size. Its my choice in semi pro chess play and in a chess club setting. Easily transportable in the travel bag included.

Title: Better than a cheap set, and decent for the price, but not a great set
Review: If you want a chess set that’s better than a $10 set with hollow pieces and a folded cardboard board, this will do very nicely. But it wasn’t what I was hoping for so I returned it.I wasn’t expecting an awesome chess set, but I wanted pieces that felt weighted in my hand and were black and white. The white was more of a pearl off-white, and most of the pieces felt too light. The pawns almost felt hollow. The board was fine but a little thin. There were no defects so I’d say it was worth what I paid for it.

Title: Great portable regulation chess set.
Review: This is a well made regulation chess set with sturdy playing pieces, a reasonably good flexible mat, and a reasonably well made carrying bag. There are bags for the chess pieces and extra queens. The only missing Item would be a clear plastic tube to hold the mat. I am currently keeping it rolled with 3 pieces of double sided velcro.

Review: I ordered this chess set for my children. I learned how to play on a Staunton design set–I always liked the look and feel of the set. I was very pleased when I received the set as it was very similar to the one I had learned on. The weight of the pieces is adequate and my children have no problems confusing the pieces with one another (a problem with many sets I have seen). I don’t like playing with the roll up chess board at home as I find a regular board is better but the roll up board is great to travel with.Very pleased with this chess set!

Title: Not what I expected for the price.
Review: This was brought as a gift. The packaging looked like it had been returned 3x over. Like it was purchased from a second hand store. The chess pieces are light weight and look very cheap. I like the carry case.

Review: Piezas de plástico normalito y los imanes no se sabe para qué, porque en el vinilo no se quedan estabilizados. Una idea útil con acabado made in China. No lo devuelvo por evitarme las molestias y porque entiendo que por 40 Euros era raro que las piezas fueran de madera… Al menos pesa poco y se lleva bien
