Review: This is the best book you can buy for your child to prep for state testing. My child started the year at a level one and was 6points shy of a level 3 at the end of the year. This work book was a big help.

Title: Awesome practice book. Challenges kids to think and write their own sentences.
Review: My son is in 3rd grade getting ready to take the FAST standardized test. He needed to practice reading comprehension and writing. This book gives short passages that have multiple choice questions to answer about the passage and 2-3 questions that ask them to write, and in some cases write their own thoughts as to why the author or character did or said something in the passage. It forces him to have to build his own thoughts, find evidence in the passage to support his thoughts and then write a sentence to explain his thoughts. He absolutely does not like this kind of writen work but I have seen improvement in his writing since using the book.

Title: Great Book
Review: my son was struggling with comprehension and this book is great – I have really seen an improvement – great tool – we are almost through the book and he is doing great and actually he enjoys doing it. We do a few pages a day. I like that it has all the answers in the back. He likes that part and gets super excited when I let him check his own answers and he gets them all right. Confidence booster, wish I would have found this sooner in the school year. – Will be ordering the 4th grade book as well.
