Title: Silly word game for bored people
Review: We’ve not actually played this game with a group of people so bear that in mind as you read this review. Having said that, we cracked it open as soon as it came in, read the rules and immediately started “playing” with the handful of people that were home. Essentially you get a deck of cards that have point words that you’re supposed to give clues for your teammates to guess, the trick is not saying the four buzzwords that are under each point word. Sounds easy right? This game is not for the uneducated. We “played” with our kids(teenagers) and our 9 year old. There are some words that would be inappropriate for little ones but for the most part it can be a family friendly game. The rules are few and exceptionally easy, the only disagreement was whether the clues were supposed to be single words or phrases. Due to the age group we opted for phrases, I imagine playing with actual grown ups you’d stick to single words. We had a good time giggling and trying to guess the words. An example of a point word–tentacles, words you can’t say are, octopus, squid, calamari or arm. Easy peesy. What is Squidward’s last name? I think that it would be harder after a few drinks but all in all it’s a silly word game that we enjoyed.

Title: it is a great laugh. I will caution that arguments are likely …
Review: As a fan of other slightly obscene games such as cards against humanity, our game group was thrilled when I showed them this game. We were eager to play and jumped right in with little initial success. I must say, some of these cards are simply impossible to guess; we ended up handing out more points to opposing teams for passing cards than we earned for correctly guessing the words. After some practice we did learn to split up the more outlandish words and describe it one part at a time. Despite the difficulty of the game, it is a great laugh. I will caution that arguments are likely to break out if you play with competitive people. We frequently endured debates about whether or not hand movements were justified as helpful gestures relating to the word on the card. Overall, it’s a fun interpretation of the more common Taboo and even in failure it’s guaranteed to end in laughter.

Title: This game is hilarious!
Review: Warning, this is a Rated R Review!I bought this game for my best friend because we were having a group game night at her house, and we were not disappointed. The game is hilarious! It is definitely embarrassing, and a lot of personal stories will end up coming out. Example: The word was “Masturbate” and the clue someone gave was “This is something that I think you do way too much”. Ha ha. Another example is the word “Squirt” and someone said “You once thought I did this, but it was really just the skylight dripping on you!” The game made everyone laugh way too hard. The only reason I am deducting a star is that once you have played this game a couple times you easily can guess the words since there are not a ton of cards. I wish the set was larger : (

Title: Exceeded my expectations
Review: This is a game you don’t want to play with your whole family, unless your family is like mine!My family consists of 4 adult children, their spouses, and their parents. We’re a close, laid back, extremely sarcastic family that can find humor in ANYTHING.Brought this out after thanksgiving dinner and we had way more fun with it than I thought we would. Of course, there was alcohol involved which prevented a couple peoples filters, but still one of the funniest family game nights we’ve had.Watching my father’s reaction to my youngest sisters knowledge of some of these words, while my mom sits there with a clueless look on her face was priceless.Would definitely recommend.

Title: Generally fun
Review: It is a fun game, but there are a things that could be better. I think for what you get about $8 would be a fair price, maybe $10 at the most.Positives:- It’s a fun creative vocabulary game- can be played with as little as two people- can be played anywhere (where you won’t offend people with language). We took this on a road trip with three adults and while the driver couldn’t be the clue giver the driver could easily participate in answering.Negatives:- It’s over priced- It requires a pretty good vocabulary from all players (some people in our group clearly didn’t enjoy the game as much as others dude to vocabulary challenges)- It can get boring. A little minute sand timer or countdown buzzer would help the play ability a lot. There were a couple times when it was obvious no one was going to guess the word but we kept going for 3-4 minutes because everyone forgot to watch the clock. Before two long this makes us stop playing and do something else. I think the longest game was still under an hour.- There are also not a lot of cards (considering a retail price of $25), and I could see how it would loose interest to replay this game, but we’ve never played it often enough to hit that point yet.
