A quick rundown of this product’s key features:
A gripping story of how an entire family, deeply enmeshed in Mormonism for thirty years, found their way out and found faith in Jesus Christ.
For thirty years, Lynn Wilder, once a tenured faculty member at Brigham Young University, and her family lived in, loved, and promoted the Mormon Church. Then their son Micah, serving his Mormon mission in Florida, had a revelation: God knew him personally. God loved him. And the Mormon Church did not offer the true gospel.
Micah’s conversion to Christ put the family in a tailspin. They wondered, Have we believed the wrong thing for decades? If we leave Mormonism, what does this mean for our safety, jobs, and relationships? Is Christianity all that different from Mormonism anyway?
As Lynn tells her story of abandoning the deception of Mormonism to receive God’s grace, she gives a rare look into Mormon culture, what it means to grow up Mormon, and why the contrasts between Mormonism and Christianity make all the difference in the world.
Whether you are in the Mormon Church, are curious about Mormonism, or simply are looking for a gripping story, Unveiling Grace will strengthen your faith in the true God who loves you no matter what.

Title: What an amazing read!
Review: I began dating an LDS member in August of last year who had just lost his wife of 21 years, 2 years previously. I have been a born-again, spirit-filled Christian since the age of 6, and while I knew a little of LDS beliefs, I didn’t know enough to begin worrying about this man. When he told me he was also born-again (the Biblical way, btw) but was LDS, words that went through my head were, “Aw, crap!” But immediately, God spoke to my heart and whispered, “I am taking care of this, just leave it to me.” So I did. (I now believe we were meant to arrive at this juncture, exactly where we are, with this book playing a pivotal role in his spiritual future and security, not to mention ours as a couple. I believe now that God had intended to make this book part of His plan all along, just in His perfect timing.)2 weeks into this relationship, we both knew where this was headed when he began talking marriage. I was more than okay with that since God spoke to my heart the first day we met and said clearly, “That man is to be your husband.” (He was my Certified Flight Instructor.)About a month later he revealed to me that since his wife’s passing, he had been in a crisis of faith, not being able to reconcile what God has now been teaching him about grace with his past LDS beliefs. Since, God has been taking him through a low, low valley in which he had been pulling away from me more and more, but again, I am not worried, since He told me he’s got this.2 weeks ago, he once again broke up, saying, “I can’t do this, I am scared!” Again, God grabbed my heart and said, “I got dis.”Slowly, He laid on my heart to find resources to give him about transitioning out of Mormonism. My friend Bengt Washburn is a former LDS and stand-up comic, and he gave me some resources, but none seemed to fit.Saturday, I did searches and came across this book. Even the title seemed to fit his situation, and how God has been showing him what true grace is, so I downloaded a sample and began reading. I had not yet finished it when I was so excited that I just downloaded the whole book, and minutes later began voraciously reading.42% of the way through, I was back on Amazon, giggling like a kid, ordering the paperback version and shipping it to him. On the gift card, the only thing I wrote out was John 15:16. It will be delivered tomorrow to him, so I appreciate all those prayer warriors reading to pray like you have never prayed before! Not only has this book been a literal gift from God for him, but it was so well-written that I found myself being blessed by it; I would go from praising and worshipping God for who He is, and how He is teaching me to let Him fall in love with me, to crying my eyes out, burdened for my love and what he must be going through. It is written with a clear deep love for the Mormon people, without a contentious spirit, yet out of personal experience that the social media commenters and haters simply cannot and should not discount (if they have a brain in their heads).I intend to write to this author and tell her just what this wonderful book has meant to me alone, and a month from now, just what it has done for my special man.If she sees this, blessings to you, Ms. Wilder for being open, brave, and obedient. I love what Joyce Meyer says about bravery and courage: Neither of those are in the absence of fear. We simply “do it afraid” and let God control the rest. Your words have taught me so much about giving God full control, and I can never thank you enough for that blessing.

Title: A Testimony
Review: I really enjoyed this book! I’ve been listening to the band Adam’s Road (Her sons’ band, a main portion of this story) for a couple of years now and had watched the family/band’s documentary called by the same name, Unveiling Grace. The story behind all of this experience has been fascinating, especially not knowing much about Mormonism prior. It was good to have first hand comments and experience related from someone in the faith and from a loving, open stand-point. I’m sure their former Mormon brethren don’t feel the same but the simple and pure heart behind their testimonies and the honesty with which they approached scripture is a beautiful thing! Lynn’s testimony here adds weight to that. Yes, here and there she goes into some typical “they act like this and act like that” generalizations that were a part of the Mormon cultural experience but they’re minimal and never outweigh the main drive, that Christ is found in His own Word and that He spoke the truth and the truth set this family and a small group of young people free. There are many false gospels and Mormonism is no more a danger than dead American Christianity in that respect. So, what is important is not necessarily how wrong that false gospel is but that there is a true and living gospel apart from the trappings of legalism, works based salvation and atheistic nominal Christianity because there is a true and Living God that pursues His own. This book presents that. There is real relationship to be had and real power, love and grace to be had. I’m thankful to read the testimony of anyone that has been pursued and come into a reconciled relationship with the living God. The fact that the testimonies herein describe the fruits of that pursuit and reveal secrets and bring clarity concerning a noted false gospel brings it just that much more importance. As for the writing itself, I found it an easy read. She never gets bogged down in pointless details and the story moves at a pretty interesting, steady pace. She also ties up all most all the loose ends concerning various family members and associates who came in and out of the picture. Having a prior interest and time to really sit and read I willing devoured the book within 24hrs. Definitely recommended for anyone interested in a real testimony. Not perfect (why should it be?) but enlightening and entertaining.

Review: Mrs Wilder has done a superb job of describing the extraordinary journey the Dancer of Grace led her through as she and her family moved from legalistic religious slavery to the freedom and joy of Gospel faith.it’s a brutally honest story in which the author is open about her struggles and failures. It’s educational about Mormon faith and practice. It’s also wonderfully glorifying to the Triune God.I recommend this book highly.

Review: … Lynn Wilder tells the very interesting story of how she and her family came out of the LDS faith. What I love especially about this book, is the love that she and her family have for the LDS and that you notice that it’S not a hate-on-mormons-book.As a non-LDS it was very helpful to have a glossary at the back explaining certain terms which only LDS understand. The book is easy to read and doesn’t get boring.

Review: Lynn Wilder’s experience is different than her son Micah Wilder’s experience. He wrote Passport To Heaven. I expected much overlap between the two books. There is none. I read both books riveted to each page. This book is a must-read for anyone who wants to understand the Mormon culture and religious teachings along with an amazing conversion experience.
