Title: Beautiful Book of Stacey Kent Lyrics
Review: Kazuo Ishiguro has written lyrics for jazz singer Stacey Kent with music by her husband, Jim Tomlinson. The book entitled “The Summer We Crossed Europe in the Rain” was just released and contains 16 lyrics by Ishiguro. At the back of the book, there is a QR code taking you to Stacey’s recordings of all but 7 lyrics. I hope Stacey will supplement her website with the missing 7 songs. Then, all of Ishiguro’s delightful lyrics will be available.
