Title: 70% best percent
Review: This is the best chocolate level in terms of a bitter vs non bitter chocolate for health and honestly pretty cheap when looking at high cocoa percentage chocolate.

Title: PERFECT
Review: Yummy and full of antioxidants. I love to melt some to put over blackberries, strawberries, popcorn. Too good. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Ok, I’m on my way to go buy some more right this very instant.

Title: awakens the taste buds- disliked dark chocolate until now. Now it is fun to try them all
Review: I’m trying to get into dark chocolate. I want the health benefits and I want to also take care of a sweet tooth on occasion. I like and appreciate dark chocolate more when I have reduced other desserts in my life. Somehow the nuances of the chocolate are more pronounced. I know not all dark chocolate is the same, so I have been trying various brands at various cocoa intensities. I am not quite ready to jump into 90%, but I will soon. Right now the 70% is quite nice, albeit a bit waxy to me, which isnt surprising as I am used to other dark chocolate that doesnt list amount (so probably low in cocoa percentage).I like breaking up a couple of squares into smaller pieces and tossing in with my raw plain pumpkin seeds. THEN I take the pit out of a medjool date and press in some of the dark chocolate & pumpkin seed mixture. Sometimes (ok often) I add a brazil nut or other nut, and close up the date as best I can. Take a bite, and voila.. a candy bar experience without all the other junk! I may try melting some and see if I can do a coating.I learned recently that I love their Chili Dark Chocolate as well as their Intense dark orange (OMG). But it is low on the cocoa scale.I will be buying more of their dark chocolate for sure. Oddly, I am liking the dark chocolate experience more and more. As much as a creamy milk chocolate is nice, I think I am enjoying the “punch” of flavor that dark chocolate offers, and I am discovering that it is all about finding a brand and cocoa level that works for me. Not all dark chocolate is the same! (hersheys special dark? blegh.. bitter. Lindt? smooth with kick to the taste buds). It’s been fun trying different brands and different options within brands. If I drank more, I would definitely be pairing with wine.

Title: Low Sugar and Delicious
Review: Dark chocolate is good for you. It needs to be 70% and higher. This 70% cocoa dark bar is smooth, rich and delicious. One square is 60 calories, 3g of sugar and about 5g of fat which is 7% of your daily value. If you can eat one square occasionally, it won’t hurt your diet. That’s about the same amount of calories as a small banana or egg.Ingredients: chocolate, sugar, cocoa butter, soya lecithin, and bourbon vanilla beans. This chocolate I received is fresh. My expiration date was 9 months in the future on 9-30-2017. It will be eaten by then.

Title: perfect balance of dark cocoa
Review: Tried the 90% cocoa, too strong, the 70% is the perfect balance, strong taste but not too bitter

Title: The Best Cocoa Content to Combine Eating Plain and Baking
Review: This 70% cocoa dark chocolate is good for both snacking and cooking. A square of dark chocolate eating slowly with freshly brewed coffee is about as good as it gets. Although Lindt makes bars with higher cocoa content, 70% is about perfect for eating. I don’tI buy these bars just for eating plain but also to elevate recipes that call for dark or bittersweet chocolate. If you don’t skimp on the quality of the chocolate – and Lindt is one of the better ones available everywhere — then the recipe shows it. I’ve made recipes given to me by other friends, and they say, “Mine doesn’t taste this good!” I tell them that the secret is in the chocolate, yet they always go back to Hershey’s dark chocolate. Or something that says it’s specifically for baking. No. Buy Lindt, Schaffen-Berger, Ghiradelli (not quite as good as the preceding) . . . anything that tastes better than ordinary. Lindt fulfills this role nicely.– Debbie Lee Wesselmann
