Title: Another great cookbook
Review: I have just reviewed Biba’s Modern Italian Cooking – Northern Italian Cooking is also a 5-star choice. The first edition of this one was the first of Biba’s books that I bought. The current edition has a few different recipes so I kept the original and when I wanted a copy for a second home I ordered another copy. My aunt once said “if you can read and tell time, you can cook”. You have to supply your own clock but if you read Biba’s books you can not only cook – you can cook delicious meals with virtually no chance of failure. After you have bought Modern Italian Cooking, order a copy of this one too.

Title: Put this book on your kindle!
Review: I just purchased my kindle and was delighted to see “Biba’s Northern Italian Cooking”which I immediately downloaded. I bought the original book which was published by HP books. Everytime I used it for guests for dinner they would rave about the meal and I would give them my copy. Over the years I can’t count the number of times I have repurchased this cookbook. Now it’s on my kindle and my guests will have to buy their own copy.

Title: Still exploring, but great so far
Review: This could well get a higher rating but I’ve only tried a couple of recipes so far. The Pasta e Fagioli de Veneto (Venetian bean soup) is to die for. A friend who lived in Italy a number of years recommended this book to me – and has also visited her restaurant in Sacramento over the years – and says this is the most authentic cookbook he has found. So far I agree.
