Title: Worked great for three months
Review: This is the third unit I bought. The first one lasted a few years, the next one worked eight months. Now we’re down to three months. Product support is a PITA, we went back and forth for weeks with them emailing me a new “task” to try each day until I finally got fed up wasting my time and gave up – exactly as they wanted me to. I’m done with this company. DO NOT BUY!

Title: Very questionable DVR.
Review: Set up was… it was okay. It wasn’t the greatest and it did, if you were not familiar with CCTVs and or it’s software/hardware you would find it confusing at times. The very worst was that after I ran all the cabling set up my cameras with this new box, I was replacing an older box with the hard drive failing, none of the cameras worked. The DVR did not identify any of my wired cameras, none. I talked to the company, they didn’t have any answers I was going to talk to Amazon, but, I just received it earlier, spent half the day setting it up after it was delivered and I ran new wiring because the wiring in the old camera system had been through several storms and it was getting a little worse for ware, so I replaced the cables. Cameras were working that morning. So, I guess I have to go buy a complete security system, cameras, DVR, cables etc.. or find a box to go with the cameras.

Title: Easy setup but hard to get questions answered and some odd issues
Review: Added 3/1/25 – Something strange happened when I checked it this morning. The date jumped ahead to 3/2 on 3/1. The time of day was correct, but I’m wondering if there is some kind of bug in the software involving Feb having only 28 days. It may also have something to do with the time being set by GMT +/-, but the time was right, only the date jumped ahead. I reset the date, but it said data might be lost in doing so. Not sure what is going on there, but I will watch it closely going forward.I was very impressed at how easy this is to set up. A few strange things like you can’t type in the time of day, you have to select +/- GMT. There are some strange things that are not in the manual or in the support questions. One example is the little square at the lower left corner of each camera that is yellow for some and green for others. I’m trying to find out what that means. If you try to contact ZOSI they only answer questions for customers that bought the product directly from them. While I like the DVR overall, I think I’m on my own to figure out some of the issues on my own by trial and error.
