Title: Very good for the price
Review: For the price, it’s really hard to knock this headset. I like that it has lots of tactile buttons. A little voice announces when it powers on or off. It comes with a little pouch to protect it and prevent it from getting lost. It’s lightweight and comfortable to wear. It even has noise reduction which used to be a premium-only feature.That being said, it’s far from perfect. I don’t know if it was a production error or not, but all the included earpieces were the same size rather than the large, medium, small as listed in the instructions. As a result I was unable to get a perfect fit. It’s not uncomfortable by any means, but the earpiece feels more like it’s sitting on top of my ear rather than in my ear.The quality of audio playback is fine for conversations but completely inadequate for music, not that I’d expect anyone buying this to use it for music. For the price I wasn’t expecting audiophile quality anyway. For audio recording, it’s easily on par with my phone’s built-in microphone so no complaints there. I was able to do voice dictations with no issue.If you need an inexpensive bluetooth earpiece for conversations, this might be just what you need. It works and works very well considering how inexpensive it is.

Title: Conventional single-ear headset that’s very affordable
Review: Item: Opinay store’s Bluetooth Headset, v5.0 Single earpiece design w/noise-reductionPrice: $11.39 after vendor 5% discount at time of reviewIf you’re familiar with the first generation of single ear headsets, this in my opinion is from that initial generation. And I was impressed with all the accessories that came with this headset, including a heavy fabric satchel. Having used it in my office and with business calls, I started by just using the headset with the silicon ear-bud. It fitted into my ear OK, but after leaving it on for more than 20 to 30 minutes it became very uncomfortable. I’ve since removed the silicon ear-bud (you get two backup silicon buds) and I’m just using the ear-hook. I can now leave the headset on for extended periods without the discomfort.The key feature of this style headset is that it allows one to have a ‘free ear’ for hearing ambient conversations and/or area sound. And that’s precisely what I want when driving; having the utility of a hands-free device while still being able to hear emergency vehicle traffic as well as audible warnings. And with conversations in my vehicle, I can handle a call and also have privacy if I have passengers. So for that design feature alone I definitely find this style of headset worthwhile. And I brought this one in because my last one was damaged.Specific to the operational features and audio quality… Out of the box I went through pairing and testing the headset. Pairing with my Samsung S9+, it took a few tries given I had another headset turned on in the area. But once I shut it off I did a fresh scan the Opinay headset identified (as A-12) in Bluetooth mode. Now the A-12 headset is in my phone’s Bluetooth connection list and it auto-pairs immediately.As for the audio quality, and again in my opinion, it’s strictly for phone audio. I wasn’t expecting anything else. I listened to my test-music-album from my phone. The music came across as very flat and in the mid-range. But that wasn’t a surprise. Using it for entertainment audio when I’m just passing time is fine. Its primary function for me is handling cellphone conversations. After a couple days of use and after asking over the phone, everyone reports that my voice-audio is legible and clear. That’s what I wanted to hear.Would I recommend the Opinay headset…? Yes I would. At this current price point and given it appears to have all the features of similar headsets I’ve owned, it’s a great primary or backup headset that I can afford to lose or accidently damage. That utility alone makes this both a worthwhile personal device if not a great inexpensive gift item.

Title: Functional, But Not For Me
Review: As a retired programmer, I’ve played with a lot of tech over the years, so I may be pickier than some. Not just about functionality, but also about the actual user experience. This earpiece seems to function pretty well, and if you’re after an inexpensive earpiece with the basics, this will do the job. It’s in the area of comfort that it falls short. First, the eartips are very flimsy, and the first of mine tore within a couple of minutes. With such flimsy eartips, and it appears that it would be quite uncomfortable without using an eartip, all I could envision was trying to find a source for replacements. My other issue is with the very small multiple-use buttons and the very tiny user instructions. The buttons are difficult for larger or arthritic fingers. The user instructions require a magnifying glass for many people to read. Just not a practical item for me.

Title: Feels cheap but surprisingly great
Review: At first impression it seemed super cheap but happy to report it’s actually pretty decent. Battery lasts forever, sound quality is really good and has noise canceling. I like that I can hear what’s going on around me, so regular headsets don’t work for me. Connectivity seems decent, can walk around my house without losing signal. My favorite headset so far.

Title: Bluetooth Headset
Review: As the song goes, Dang me, ought to get a rope and hang me. None of these headset stay in my ear. Looking at the ad, again, before writing this review. I see now it plugs into the ear because I have it in my hand. None of the pieces will keep it in my ear. Decided to super glue the hook so it would stay in my ear, but that didn’t work either. If I sit still and don’t move much, it stays. But soon as I get up and walk, it starts flopping around on my ear. All the buttons work like they should and it has a clear nice sound. This is a rather good headset, unless you have ears like mine. Just wish the ad showed it plugs into your ear!!
