Title: High quality DVR, GREAT Price!!!
Review: First and most importantly this DVR unit has outside button controls, big plus when something happens and you don’t have time to go search for that mouse to plug in. Additionally this is one of the few H.264 DVR units in this price range that record in 960H on ALL EIGHT CHANNELS, others do not unless you pay more money. Very nice piece of equipment with lots of HDD room and very good software that allows you to search for incident by date and time in a very user friendly manner. User friendly software for setup and various recording situations. Seller is quick to respond to any product questions and is very detailed and informative on any issues you may have with setup or corrections to errors made while setting up. Once opened with Internet Explorer, using a laptop or desktop, the software allows the user a beautiful live view of all cameras, playback and many options including configuration changes without having to go back to the unit itself. The only con, as insignificant as it may be, is for those who access their unit by computer, laptop or desktop, the unit ONLY talks with Internet Explorer (must go into settings of Explorer Edge and click on open with Internet Explorer for Windows 10 users). Not compatible with Firefox or Chrome browsers. More Pros, front facing USB so you do not have to hunt in the back of the unit (3 USB total), Ethernet connection, color video output, front light display for immediate status of power/recording/HDD/LAN. This DVR unit is what it says it is, definitely earns the 5 star rating.

Title: works great and I had a great customer service experience ****3/18/2018 update the second unit started the reboot cycle
Review: Ok so I got this unit in and it installed fast and easy, mobile hookup was just a smartphone scan, took 15 minutes to install a WD 500 drive and the setup wizard was easy,(use a USB keyboard if you dont like the mouse and on screen keyboard) Note: my cameras & wires were already up. so in about 4 months I noticed a restart issue and repeatedly had to log in to return to my preferred 4 cam window, but somehow no loss of data just the few seconds needed to restart/reboot, used “contact seller” on web order page. the agent asked some questions about troubleshooting and within days I was back up and running……I read other reviews to the contrary ….I think that this customer service was professional, courteous and a very fast resolution causing me zero down time. I would recommend this unit to anyone wanting a reasonable priced easily setup DVR, BUT YOU DO HAVE TO INSTALL YOUR OWN HARDDRIVE… ******I have received NO benefit or compensation from this review****** The replacement unit started the reboot cycle in 5 days, I will have to purchase another system, Customer service very polite but hands tied by seller. Title: This is the cheapest dvr with best playback i found
Review: Works with andriod or iphone app only couldnt get it to work on internet explorer. It Does have its only software app for computer. you can watch full playback and jump to almost specific minute vs most dvr’s app where your stuck watching the whole 1hr segment using phone app. This is the cheapest dvr with best playback i found. Im an owner of 3 of these now and only down side is it doesnt have an auto reboot in software, and 2 out of 3 units i bought were prowned to freezing on units after long uses causing recording data and app to stop working, it was random sometimes as short as a day to a week, fixed that by adding my own 10 dollar digital outlet timer to cycle power daily for a minute for piece of mind when recording and away from home. Customer support is decent with emailing a new update and trying to solve issue. seems the freezing could be related to factory installed software, had to update and backdate and reupdate to fix intermitting freezing, still chose tho to buy an addon timer to just reset the dvr. Im still happy with these units, im in for 50 dollars plus a harddrive, and if by some chance you get one that freezes, i was able to return with no hassle for free through amazon for full refund or replacement. Worth the money for upgrading existing system. My only other complaint would be the internal fan is in bad location, if you deside to keep this unit recomend cutting a hole on top metal cover above where the heatsink is on board and mounting fan on top externally for better flow of air. Most units you find will be same design as this and run warm to hot with lack of ventilation. Give it 4 stars due to price out of all the units i have bought over years and brands ive tried, its worth the money

Title: Very pleased.
Review: I purchased this DVR to replace another brand that had failed. So far it is proving to be a good DVR for us. It was easy to install and get running. It quickly formatted my 1TB drive and provides crisp clear images from the cameras of the same manufacturer purchased on Amazon from the same seller. The support I have gotten from this company in the past for other things not related to this DVR is what gave me the confidence to order this from them. The reviews stating no support do not match my own experience. I was also provided after sale emails with links to videos and documentation so I could get going as soon as it arrived. The DVR was well packaged and has not caused any issues so far. I have everything plugged into a APC UPS for electrical protection and even have the cameras isolated from surges feeding back to the system. The DVR has all the expected features including naming the cameras and when to record what. It even has 4 inputs for audio which is better than I have had in the past. It runs silently with green and red function lights on the front. These lights are very bright and hard to miss. each camera has it’s own date time stamp along with the system date time as well as icons indicating what is going on – sound, motion, recording etc. I am glad this is available and I would buy it again but hope that I do not need to for a long time. The seller processed my order quickly and it arrived before it was scheduled to do so.

Review: After 3 days of use the dvr only displayed zosi logo not sure whats wrong with it but i just dont want to get it stuck like that when its should be recording 24hrs a day. Will try another brand maybe.
