Title: Perfect Linux detection, 6 months flawless operation
Review: Plugged it in to an old mid-2000s laptop which didn’t have a Bluetooth radio. Worked perfectly with Ubuntu 22.04 LTS and had operated flawlessly for over 6 months.

Title: Worthless
Review: This device claims to be compatible with both Windows and Linux. I have a dual boot computer, I normally run the machine using linux as it is an older laptop and while it loads and runs Windows 10 it can be sluggish in Windows it preforms better in Linux. I run the Mint 21.3.I bought this device as it claimed to be compatible with Linux as well as Windows. On plugging the device in the machine while running Linux the system not only could not initialize the device it didn’t even see it. I have an older Bluetooth device I know is not compatible with Linux and while it will not function the software sees it even though it can not initialize. To further check the system and make sure the problem was not with the computer I rebooted and went into Windows. I found it had recognized the device and claimed it was operating normally. I tried it out with my remote speaker to see if it could connect it could not. I then ejected it and loaded the older device it worked flawlessly. The remote speaker is also BT 5.1. As it also claims to be backwards compatible that shouldn’t have made any difference but clearly this should have worked.I subsequently found nothing would connect via bluetooth with this device no matter what generation it was. I also tried it in two other computers, a much newer Windows system running Windows 11, and my Macbook. None of these could use this device. Win 11 system had the same issue as the older machine running Linux, it didn’t even see it.Normally I would assume it needs a newer driver than my machines may have, but as there is zero documentation with the device I have no way to track that down.So I will be returning it and will not be repeating the mistake of buying an unbranded bargain even though this was an Amazon recommend product.

Title: Connectability
Review: Bought this for my older laptop, circa 2015 as blue tooth radio stopped suddenly. As soon as I plugged it in to an open USB port Windows recognized it and installed it with no issues.I was able to connect my blue tooth earbuds, again with no issues. All in all a great purchase and a great solution for my blue tooth woes.

Title: Doesn’t find anything but TVs and Monitors.
Review: I tried to use this for headsets but it only finds the worst, most outdated one I own that I don’t use.Edit, got it to work. Still difficult with a computer that has no built in Bluetooth at all and you have to find the control center to connect. Painful

Title: Works on LINUX
Review: Bought it for my UBUNTU Operating System (XBUTNU) Linux PC. It got recognized as soon as I placed it in the USB port and for all nearby Blue Tooth devices. Adding/connecting to them was a breeze.Tried on a Windows PC and the results were the same. Will definitely recommend

Title: Not working
Review: Not sure if it works with Windows or not, but it is sure it doesn’t work with Linux (Ubuntu LTS 20.04). First, it’s not easily to be detected by the computer. I had to plug-unplug several times before it was detected. But the sound was noisy and sometime I heard something else. Strongly suspect it’s a quality issue
