Title: Great headset
Review: I work in a high volume nurse transfer center and always had trouble hearing, especially with wireless headsets. This one has double ear phones which really helps when there is alot of background noise or if the caller is on a cellphone. But it is liggt enough that I can push one behind my ear if I dont need it. Also, holds a charge for the whole 12 hours that I use it. Worth the money!

Title: Cosmetically looks like new, Electronically unit does not work!
Review: All components look to be in new condition. All switches produce static when you touch them and do not function correctly. Mic does not work no matter where the settings are. FYI we have several of these headsets so the issue is not operator error lol. Electronics are not being checked during the referb process. Do not waste your time on these junk referbs.

Title: BAD SHODDY “RENEWAL” DISSAPOINTMENT! Bad QC (Normally product itself is great)
Review: Plaintronics is an EXCELLENT supplier of these series of wireless headsets. The range is AMAZING and the sound quality is better than a corded headset!Having said that, the particular ITEM/DEVICE I RECEIVED WAS IN HORRIBLE AND ABUSED CONDITION.I didn’t mind the scuff marks or even the cracked ear cushion on the headset. The mic sounded like the wiring inside the device itself (or somewhere) was damaged as I’d get customers saying off an on they couldn’t hear me. I tested the device with an outside call (I’m a Polycom Device Technician for a major phone company) and it was obvious the mic connection was damaged. The sound setting switch dials on the bottom of the charger were detached and hanging and unable to be set. The switches themselves were there but just hanging on to the charger, if you attempted to adjust them, you could tell it was just hanging plastic. It honestly looked like someone had intentionally damaged it before handing it back to the reseller (just my theory).My point being, QC failed here MISERABLY. Anyone with even minor tech skill could just inspect and touch this unit for a moment and see that it would not be acceptable to use…and I use this type of equipment every day at work. Had someone just taken a moment to look at this particular unit, they’d have passed it on and maybe I’d have gotten a better, working, and reliable set.At the end of the day, I paid for a partially working headset that I could not adjust the settings on…and I even tried to use that and say “Hey, you got a bargain, it works! So what if you can’t set the volume? I’ll just adjust the volume on the Polycom phone!” Well, even that was no good as the mic connection (either in the base or the headset itself) is damaged. I really gave it every chance. My return was “approved” on March 24th (I got the device on March 15th) and I still haven’t seen the payment back to my account yet.Again, to be clear, Plaintronics is not at fault here, the reseller/refurbisher is. I would really have like to have gotten a used one…as long as it works! Big disappointment. This particular device was sold and refurbished by “E-Supply Tech” so I will not be getting any other devices from them any longer. I did get one other Plaintronics headset from “Nebraska Blvd LLC” and “Emuna trading II” and it was shipped fast and it works great. Also got some from Nextiva and theirs were super.MAYBE I just got that one odd one that slipped through, but I’ve seen some other reviews with some issues so it’s up to you. I’d be HAPPY to order used or refurbished again if they’d responded more quickly to my return or offered to send a replacement even! I just want one that works!
