Title: Good for my brain
Review: As a senior I try to find novel puzzles or tasks to keep my brain engaged. I am glad I ordered this puzzle. I know there are lots of things like this as apps on my iPad, but I enjoy the tactile experience. Again, I feel like it is better for my brain.The puzzles start off very easy but get progressively harder. I keep it on my chair side table. It is fun to do while having the TV on. And it looks nice sitting out. When guests come over they like to play with it too. The pieces are easy to handle and cut and finished nicely.I recommend this. It would make a nice gift.

Title: Fun puzzle that’s (mostly) nicely made
Review: The puzzle itself is fun, and there are 80 puzzles to solve in an included leaflet. The easy puzzles are fairly simple and obvious, but as you get farther in playing, you have to figure out how to creatively obscure parts of the pieces with the other color. Solutions are not provided.The puzzle pieces and box are real wood. The playing pieces are painted. I believe the box’s wood is stained, though it doesn’t appear to be sealed with clear coats (I could be wrong). It has a more rustic, matte look to it.The reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the base of mine came with two significant dents, the bigger one being around 5″ long by up to over 1/4″ wide. Thankfully this is on the underside of the base, so it’s not highly visible, but I feel like more care should have been put into making sure the wood was in good shape. Other than that, though, I really like it.
