Title: Good price, easy to use, GREAT customer service, and great sound & transmission
Review: A couple of years ago, I got a Bluetooth transmitter and receiver unit from another brand here on Amazon. They were so finicky, when they did work. Most of the time they didn’t. I had to face them directly at each other across the room. They cut out, they were staticy and most of the time they just failed. This soured me on Bluetooth for home music. I left a one-star review, and threw them in the garbage. More money down the drain for failed products.I’ve got this great Pioneer amplifier that’s hooked up to a nice Klipsch 5.1 system, and a couple more big old Fisher speakers for the rear. I had it hard-wired up to my computer to play music, but it was always an on-going chore to get it all working together. I looked on Amazon for a Bluetooth receiver to hook up so I could broadcast from my iPhone. After lots of diligent study, I decided to try out the 1Mii and use it as a receiver. It comes with optical out, and an optical cord. I ran the optical cord to my Pioneer, paired it to my phone, and there I was, great music on my home stereo via my iPhone. It worked great, and was super easy to set up.I’ve also got a couple of Pyle speakers in the kitchen, hooked up to a Lepy Bluetooth mini-amp, from Amazon. I could pair that one to my iPhone, and play music in the kitchen. It works great. Then I started thinking- “Wouldn’t it be nice if I could have both my kitchen and living room systems playing together at the same time?” Some phones can do it, but my iPhone can’t. Looking around, it’s supposed to be a difficult and tricky thing to do. I’ve got two different brands of receivers. There’s often a lag between to systems, even if you can get it working.I called up 1Mii, and they said I could do it with the 1Mii B03, just like the one I already have. So, I sent away for one, and hooked it up to my computer. This time, I had a bit of trouble getting everything working together. I emailed 1Mii’s support and connected with Wendy. Wendy responded overnight, and ran me through a couple of things to try. She stayed with me and responded quickly and cheerfully, and together we found a solution. So now, I’m paired with both my living room system and my kitchen system. If there’s any lag, it’s not noticeable. I’ve gotta say a big THANK YOU to Wendy and all the support staff at 1Mii. I’ve been planning and working on this for years, and now it’s reality.I love my 1Mii products, and I love the 1Mii customer service. support@1mii.com

Title: Reasonable Price. Good Performance. Great range.
Review: We purchased this 1Mii B03 Bluetooth 5.0 Transmitter Receiver to use with a JBL Charge 5 Bluetooth speaker we received as a gift from a family member. Our analog program source is the headphone jack on an old-school Marantz receiver that has no onboard wireless capability. The M1ii includes a selection of short cables to accomplish analog or digital input or output. Setup is very simple and the connection to the JBL speaker was both quick and reliable. A toggle switch allows the user to select either a Low-Latency option (best for synching dialog with video) or a High-Definition option (better for music). The HD option does produce a bit of a lag, as the 1Mii’s DAC chip handles more information, but this is not an issue for our intended use. I must admit I was not a fan or early MP3 and Bluetooth versions, as music always seemed thin and lifeless on anything more capable than earbuds or small near-field speakers, due to over compression of data needed to make them work. They have apparently come a long way since then and are now capable of sounding good with a more capable speaker. I have had DAC chips fail after about a year of not very intensive use, so I do not know how durable the 1Mii will be. The cost of this unit seems reasonable for what it features, particularly the range. The signal never falters, even at approximately 60 to 80 feet through walls, doors, and laminated glass. So: Reasonable Price. Good Performance. Great range.

Title: Excellent device – but…
Review: I received this device only about a week ago and so far it does exactly what I need – it provides a very easy way to switch audio between computer speakers (mounted under my monitor) and a Bluetooth headset. I prefer to use my headset whenever I do not want to play sounds openly and disturb others near by. Switching between the two requires no wires to be plugged and unplugged – very handy. The “but” in my heading has to do with two very minor things. First, I had to make sure to use the USB power supply that came with this unit. When I first connected the unit I powered it from the USB outlet on the side of my monitor. When powered in that way, a disturbing background noise was present in the audio. My first impression was that I needed to return the unit. However, when I changed the power source from the monitor USB outlet to the power supply that came with the device, everything cleared up – the sound was excellent – no perceptible delay and no noise anywhere. I suspect the problem may have been that my monitor USB outlet was not able to provide sufficient power to the device. As for sound quality, it is now perfect. The only other part of the “but” is the Bluetooth connection. Most of the time I can connect quickly to my headset by simply turning the headset on. When the blue TX indicator light on the B03 shows goes from blinking to steady on, I know a connection to my headset has been made. Occasionally (not often) I have to switch the B03 device OFF and back ON for the headset to make a Bluetooth connection. Definitely not a “show-stopper”, especially since it only happens rarely. Range is excellent and the claim to “long range” is fully justified. Although I had not originally planned to listen to my computer except when sitting in front of my monitor, I have found that it is quite handy to be able to walk away from the monitor when listening to something that involves audio only (a podcast or music). Overall, I am very pleased with the unit. It has been an excellent purchase.

Review: Excellent unit, one of the cheapest I could find with the available features. I use it with my optical cable from TV into the input of the b03 and the included optical cable from the output of the b03 into the one optical receiver plug of my small HTIB. Plugs in to the wall for DC always on power. Super easy to use.1. Little to no lag with various TV sources using aptx-low latency LL headphones. Even using non-LL headphones there is a barely noticeable lag, and this kind of thing would usuall annoy me.2. Doesn’t go super far through thick drywall but I got a line of sight interrupted of 35 feet easy (and b03 is an almost enclosed cabinet – unit is impressivle small and easy enoughbtotuck away. Nice angled top to get at buttons).3. When a previously connected headphone is turned on rhe b03 quickly reconnects automatically. It ca transmits to two headphones at same time but if one does not support LL then it switches out of that mode to SBC. The lag in this mode is slight but noticeable with non LL earbuds but has little noticeable effect on the LL headphones. When the earbuds are turned off the b03 automatically switches back to the LL mode. I tried out the aptx HD codec switch with conpatible headphones but was not reall able to discern any difference.4. Sound quality is decent but this of course is dependent more on your particular headphones. Surprisingly good with cheap BT earbuds though. Not audiophile amazing, but fine for watching shows.5. Pass through is awesome. Wife can watch with minimal sound from the HTIB speakers while deaf me watches with the LL headphones cranked so I can hear the dialogue and not wake up the baby. When she changes the vilume on the HTIB from the remote it doesnt3affect my headphone volume which can be adjusted on my headphones directly or via the buttons on the b03 itself.
