Title: Fuses don’t appear to be rated correctly.
Review: Edit: so first time since installing these I really got on it with my truck and was hitting 3K rpms. I blew the 150amp fuse I put on my 136amp stock alternator. Also noticed both 100amp fuses had blew on my 90 amp grid heaters. Not sure when those blew but guess it’s not been working (only cold enough one day to tell)Going to try and remember to put the remaining 150amp fuse on one 90 amp grid heater and see if it blows.Overall the case the fuse goes in is fine, not really happy about the fuses blowing so easily. Other people run the same size ANL fuses but different brands without trouble.I know it’s better than blew then held out to 400-500amps without blowing, but it also caused me to have to pull over on the highway and remove the fuse for the alternator and bridge the wiring.*Original review:I ended up getting 3 of these. 2 100 amp which are on the right in my picture and 1 150 amp which is the far left. The two1000 amps are to run the grid heater on my Cummins and the left 150 amp runs from the alternator. I used 4 gauge wire on the alternator and 6 gauge wire on the grid heater.I was redoing the wiring in my truck and having trouble getting correctly sized fuse link wire where I didn’t need to buy 25+ feet of for a huge price. This appears to work fine and is easily seen or opened in case a fuse does blow.I gave it 3 stars for durability as the soft clear covers will probably not hold up.

Title: Much better than what you’d get for that $ at a local car parts store
Review: Really nice looking and no complaints on quality either. I used these in dual battery circuits coming right off the optima batteries house and starting sources. In the other direction I used circuit breakers which cost more but are more likely to actually be potentially exceeding the amperage draw and needing to be reset. The fuses are for a short circuit in the 01 awg wires between those batteries which would be catastrophic and likely a fire if not protected. These mount easy and are a clean and nicely designed fused device matching the wiring work, busses, terminals and actual auxiliary fuse panel and connections to an auto regulating charger and manual battery switch for either or both in emergency. I think they are a nice compliment to the job as a whole. It’s mostly blue sea and namebrand car audio, both respectable vendors so these wouldn’t look the part if they were cheaply made or junk. 4 stars, as I just got them and gotta give an accurate review. I’ll update to 5 if they’re still working and looking good in a few months. I likeStuds versus the setscrrw type mount. Studs are ideal and don’t seem to work loose, but they’re usually stainless steel it seems and crossthreading or overtightening can ruin them quickly. A careless customer would be an issue not these products or the hundreds of high end amps and speaker enclosures that use the same method of attachment, battery switch gear and marine electrical. The stainless is less forgiving but less corrosion prone. I’ll take the corrosion protection any day!

Title: Small price for alot of protection
Review: I do alot of urban camping in my Ford Ranger. I just refuse to pay the outrageous prices for a hotel room for the plesure of getting into a bed that a stranger just crawled out of a few hours before. I have everything that I need but a shower. Amyway, I recently added to my comfort by adding a inverter and battery system to my “camper”. Having experinced a battery cable malting while driving in the past. I chose not to experince that again. When I decided to install the power system putting fuses inline was a needed necessity. These fuses and cases are prefect for my application. I put one fuse from the truck battery inline to the new continuous relay then I placed the other one inline from the relay to the inverter battery. Now in the event that a short or a power surge should happen. My truck won’t burn down to the frame. I realize I could have set up the system without putting the fuses in. And a lot of motorhomes and campers are set up that way. And alot of motorhomes and campers burn to the ground on side of the road. For the price you can’t beat the safety these fuses provide. And, as the system ages I would rather know something is wrong with the system by blowing fuses than finding out by burning my truck down.

Title: Used Mine with the Plastic Shield Off
Review: Seems to work great with my 50 and 100 amp anl fuses. However, the heat generated from a slow-blowing fuse could melt the plastic, so I just took that part off for safety. It’s not really needed for a 12 volt system unless there’s a possibility that something could short to it. Be aware also that a lot of fuses don’t blow at exactly their rating or require some time to blow at the rated amperage. I found that to protect against shorts to ground I also needed a DC circuit breaker. It’s good to test the shorts too just to see what the battery BMS would do, if the fuses would really blow, and if your circuit breakers would trip, because otherwise there could be an ongoing short or heat build-up somewhere, and proper testing can reduce the chances significantly.

Review: La calidad es buena, el tamaño es bastante grande (obvio el tamaño del fusible de 150amp.)Recomiendo verificar el amperaje que necesitas antes de comprarlo; el amperaje esta sobrado en muchos aparatos.
