Title: A fun, easy to learn cutthroat game.
Review: I got this card game for Christmas and it’s awesome! Honestly great for all ages (NOT for cry babies though🤣). It’s fast paced and super cutthroat. Seriously, no mercy! But one game is only like 15-20 minutes long, so me and my sister just play over and over again without getting bored. The better you are at it, the quicker the game goes. Wicked clever design, honestly WAY better than the OG. I used to NOT really like monopoly because it would take hours and I would always loose. But this game I’d say has a little more of a strategy to it, and it’s much easier to learn in my opinion. They’ve got a ton of action cards, properties, and money. Everything Monopoly has but more, and better! I brought this game to a retreat and it was a HIT! We played several hands and they liked it so much they bought the game! I have to say it’s definitely much more fun with 2-5 players, when you play with too many people (at least in my experience) it can get a little confusing and messy. However I think if you have a big group, as long as everyone has played a few times before it should be fine.

Title: Family friendly but vicious game
Review: Play this to test your relationship with friends and family. Be aware. This will bring out the worst in yourself and others. Want to see the true side of the people you love? You will lash out and it will have consequences. Names will be called. Cursewords will be shouted. My 8-year old niece threatened to kill my friend. Give this game a run through. It will test the limits of your patience. You will be back stabbed. This is not a friendly game. It’s cut throat. You scheme and you plot. You bring the downfall of your opponent with financial ruin. And yet, it’s fun as hell! Stockpile your bank. Guard your monopolies. Covet the ‘Just Say No.’ Buckle up. This is a gladiator match. No one comes out unscathed!

Title: Really love this game!
Review: I love the original monopoly game but could never get my husband to play since it takes so long. This game is a lot like the original Monopoly. Instead of landing on spaces and following the directions, you pick up cards that give you similar directions. It is actually very fun. The first time you play it, it seems confusing. That is probably only because you are used to playing it a different way. The directions say to just start playing, and you will quickly get the hang of it. That is absolutely true. By our second hand, we were really enjoying ourselves. We have played it every night after dinner since then.

Title: Lightning Fast Monopoly
Review: Monopoly Deal is a small card game that I had low expectations for. It was on sale so I decided to give it a try.Gameplay: Each player starts with 5 cards in their hand. At the start of their turn, they must draw 2 cards then play up to 3 cards. They can either play an action card, a property card, or any card into their personal bank. At the end of their turn, they must discard down to 7.Playing cards into your personal bank is valuable, because eventually you’ll need to pay rent or some other shenanigans will occur requiring you give money to your opponents. The catch is, you can ONLY play money from your bank/property, never your hand, so you always want to have cash on hand or else you’ll have to pay from your properties – and change is not given. The game ends when one player has completed 3 sets of properties.Pros:1. The game is quick2. The game doesn’t take up much space (box or table play area)3. There is some strategy4. Game teaches set-collection, hand management, and math.5. The game is quickCons:1. There is a lot of luckThe game plays quickly at least compared to normal Monopoly. I like that it is a minimalist sort of game – it’s just a deck of cards so it doesn’t take up a lot of space on the bookshelf and the game itself is easy to play on a card table. I like that this is an easy game that we can play on a weeknight. What I don’t like is that it is highly dependent on luck. There is some strategy, e.g. don’t play cards that can complete your opponents set unless you can complete it yourself, because some cards allow properties to be traded or stolen. You might be out of luck if you don’t have a card to cancel those effects. And always have some money available to pay up rent – keep the small change, because no change is given! So in a way, this game can teach the concept of hand management – making good decisions on what cards to keep or play. This game has similar amounts of luck as another Hasbro card game, Life Goals. However, that game has a storytelling element. This game is less humorous and the “take-that” or attacks on other players is more prominent; it’s a more vicious game.I did with the last game, but the victory seemed hollow – I just happened to be lucky with my card draws. I didn’t do anything to win except follow the rules.Other Monopoly games that we’ve tried recently include Monopoly Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves and Monopoly Chance. Monopoly Chance is the most different from the standard Monopoly formula and I think definitely worth checking out because it has different game mechanics and vibrant plastic skyscrapers. Although both of those games are longer I think they are more fun than Monopoly Deal.Monopoly Deal is easy to play, it’s small/travel-size, but I don’t think it’s one that I will keep. There are a lot of other card games that are small and quick to play that are more fun.If you are interested in small card games that are easy to play with families, I would recommend instead Life Goals, Timeline or Cardline (at least it’s educational and has lots of picture), Similo, or Abandon All Artichokes.

Review: Kids really like to enjoy, they are always excited to play. It can be completed within 15 mins. If 2 players playing would be good to have 5 sets to win. 3 sets are too easy. Rules are not complex too. Go for it.
