Title: Great Mic for Motorola TLK Products
Review: This is a great mic for the Motorola Wave App. It does not work with my fire department issued Motorola APX series radio. There’s a different bluetooth mic for that.

Title: Not compatible for all Tlk100
Review: Be mindful that this device isn’t compatible to all tlk100 series and the instructions are much to be desired. A simple pairing mode should be the goal. Not an overt way of logging on the dashboard, having an account, reseting and, etc. This device didn’t and won’t pair with a LEO account only civilian. I hoped this would work. Honest review. I couldn’t rate this because I couldn’t get it to work or pair. I’ll be returning. Update. These ppl are a scam do not buy. I asked for a refund and they took $100 for a RESTOCKING fee. Amazon should be ashamed to let this happen! Amazon did make me whole later after I complained.

Title: Read the fine print
Review: The product they sent was not what it was written as. The radio mic did not pair and they tried to charge a restocking fee of 120.00!!!!! Even my employers radio shop looked at it and couldn’t make it pair.

Title: Works fine
Review: The mic works fine for me with no problems and Looks good compared to others only downside for me that it doesn’t work with ESchat I can hear but I can’t transmit but with wave PTT which I rather not use they work great together so Motorola if you reading this do a over the air software update to work with ESChat and you will sell more of these but I will still give it 4 stars

Title: Convenient, Cordless But Voice Quality is Subpar
Review: I so wanted to like this accessory, but sadly I received so many complaints from others about garbled voice quality, I cannot recommend it. Honestly I am surprised that Motorola would put this out. Using the radio I always get 5/5 on our repeater system, but anytime I use the WM500, I’m asked to repeat myself, no matter how or where I hold it. For reference, I am using an R7 DMR radio on my belt on the same side as the WM500 clipped to my uniform shirt. After three months, I had to stop using it to transmit since the whole idea of radio communication is getting information across quickly and accurately. Having to repeat myself over and over is not that. I love that it’s cordless and the battery lasts all day. One other issue is it randomly makes clicking noises throughout the day which makes my ears perk up thinking someone is going to say something, but there’s no transmission. It’s just the WM500 clicking. So, I’ve settled on using this to listen but when I have to talk, I grab the radio and transmit. If this were a $50 item, I would say go for it. But this is expensive so it should work flawlessly. It also has contacts on the back which look like it would have a drop-in charger, but I don’t see one offered from Motorola, so you have to open the weather-seal and charge with a USB-C cable.
