Title: Perfect
Review: Comes with the straight blade and the nose piece, and both work really well. I owned a Pan*sonic nose hair trimmer and when I used it I would smell burning plastic/metal after 15-20 seconds, but the Remington does not do that at all which I am most excited about. It does get a tad warm but it doesnt give me that stinging smell of burning when using it! Cuts really nicely, it’s the perfect little device that keeps those nasty nose hairs away that tickle my nose, also great for some touch ups with the straight blade.

Review: Why do women’s nose trimmers look like a drill bit, are too bulky, and barely cut nose hairs? Quite by accident, I discovered a YouTube video that showed a woman teaching others how to use this Remington Nose, Ear & Detail Trimmer with CleanBoost Technology marketed for men. I was intrigued by its narrow, two-bladed design and decided to order one.It’s nice it comes with an AA battery, so I did not have to bother with charging it. The unit is well-oiled and recommended to keep it in good operating capacity. The Use and Care Guide is pretty lengthy but understandable. There are many details when and how to use the adjustable comb for bushy eyebrows, but there are none for how to best use the nose trimmer. You pretty much have to figure it out on your own. They should include a demo video on the product page. There’s a definite learning curve. Because I’m righthanded, it was easier for me to trim my left nostril. My right one was more difficult to figure out. Once I was satisfactorily done, I pressed the blue CleanBoost handle to open the trimmer blades for a more complete rinse under running water.I doubt I’ll ever use the round ear trimmer that looks like my old nose trimmer. The same goes for the small attachment comb.Regardless, I still think it was worth it to purchase this product even if I only use the nose trimmer. Its narrow design for men is good for women to use, too.

Title: I expected more
Review: compared to my ancient norelco linear blade nosehair trimmer, this unit is nowhere near as effective.But the motor on that finally died after 5+ years, so I tried this as a replacement.The blade design doesn’t cut as consistently. The motor seems weaker. It is loud and heats up, which doesn’t matter too much to me but is noticeable.Cleaning is fine.The eyebrow trimmer attachment doesn’t get low enough to my liking and “snaps” into place but doesn’t stay put.Annoying.I don’t understand how I’m having trouble finding a product as good as one I bought for under $20 years go, at Target.It’s not like grooming has gotten more difficult in the last ten years, lol. Ai yi yiiii.

Title: Works better than my expensive trimmer
Review: This has a dual head, which attributes to a very efficient and precise trim job.One AA Battery does the trick. Easy flip on/off switch with the bottom cap.Clean up with water, then clipper oil and it’ll last a lifetime. Has thumb press button to give the blade head a better rinse clean. Well thought out, on that part!Soo far no cuts, gets everything, in the ear/ nose dept. Has plenty of power.This actually works way better than my more expensive Phillips.The fit and finish is cheap. Plastic and lack luster, but who cares. This thing works very well. I’m buying a back up for the road trip/hotel stays.Inexpensive, and works very well. Get this!

Title: Good for the price
Review: This is a pretty good value for ten bucks. Most other trimmers seem to be at least a couple dollars more expensive and don’t always have both the eyebrow and nose trimmer attachments along with the general trimmer function. And not all come with the battery included. I also really like how the trimmer is double sided. Makes certain tasks a bit easier without having to flip it around to come at the hair from the other angle. I also like how you can open/close the blades quickly and easily for cleaning.However, to me, it underperforms a bit in how close it trims. I’ve used a different trimmer, the Wahl Micro Groomsman, for years but decided to give this one a try since the Wahl product is generally more expensive and usually stops working sooner than I think it should. This Remington trimmer doesn’t seem to cut quite as close as the Wahl. The Wahl trimmer sounds and feels a bit more powerful and seems to allow me to better get that close trim that I want. So, I ultimately bought another one of the Wahls.That said, I still use this product, too. The eyebrow and nose trimmer functions seem to work just as well as they do on the Wahl, and I don’t always need a super close trim on my face. Plus, the double blade feature is nice and this trimmer is a little quieter.In terms of form, this one has a thicker, heavier handle, which feels good in the hand. But the Wahl is skinnier so will take up a bit less space. The Wahl product also has a cap to put over the blades when not in use while this item does not.In terms of durability, I don’t know how this will do. I’m hoping it lasts longer than the Wahl, which I feel like I replace once every 2 or 3 years.All in all, I like this product, especially at the price, but I can’t give it 5 stars since it just doesn’t trim as closely as I’d like.
