Title: Older Car still useful
Review: I have an older care with a factory radio I dare not replace since it is tied into the DVD player and sound system. The radio also has OnStar that is tied into the radio so a new radio is not in the future upgrade for my car. I don’t like to use my cell phone while driving for obvious reasons and a Bluetooth adaptor FM transmitter saved the day. Easy to set up with a radio channel you don’t use and it ties into the station for hands free calling. The flexible wire cord is a must have if your power outlet is very low to the ground. Mine is at the base of the floor so a plug in unit makes it difficult to see the FM number for connection. Bright rainbow light system that has no real utility but to make your music dance with the lights. Good sound quality with my phone but I recommend you play with the channels to get the best sound for phone calls (107.9 gave me some background buzzing noise). Make sure you know how to work the volume control, otherwise you would think the unit doesn’t work because the person is not hearing you. Overall, this is a great substitute for older cars and smart phones connection for Bluetoothing your phone and music.

Title: Great gadget
Review: This gadget is great and works well, very easy to set up and now I can listen to my music without using my air pods while driving. It’s especially nice when others are riding with me. You don’t have to have a memory card to listen to your music. I don’t fully understand when you do need one, but if all you are doing is listening to your tunes no memory card required. It kind of reminds me back in the day when I used a fake tape in my tape deck that had a wire connected to it so that I could listen to my CD’s. Crazy!

Title: It works even for vehicles over 20 years old
Review: The setup of this FM transmitter was not as simple as I thought. Likely, it was because I thought it would serve as an FM radio transmitter and not simply a FM transmitter. When I did hook it up properly, the station I played through my phone did play through my radio. The transmitter worked for my 20+ year old vehicle’s original radio and I was surprised.

Title: Comes through clean
Review: I got this to upgrade the one I had used for the last 6+ years it was a different brand and had a static like noise if the music wasn’t up or it was switching songs. This one does not have that sound, and although during calls you can the person really well they cannot hear you as well. The sound quality and setup was so easy I love the function that lets you switch the song from the little button that makes it really easy and I have it placed close enough to where it doesn’t distract me from driving. I would highly recommend and also the spot to add your charger has worked great, I love that you don’t have to unplug it to have to charge the phone if you only have one lighter port.

Title: Works as described
Review: No portable FM transmitter is perfect, but this one does what you would expect, which is to broadcast your phone’s audio to your old car stereo with reasonable quality, as long as you can find an empty channel. Bonus for having two charging ports of two different sizes, so it sort of doubles as a USB converter. I never use it to actually charge my phone, but it’s nice to keep it plugged in while streaming music or using GPS so I’m not draining the battery.The face plate looks nice IMO, however mine only came with the option to clip to a vent (some others have an adhesive attachment), which inherits the same issue as most other clip-based mounts; it’s tough to keep in position and you have hot air blowing directly on it in the winter. But if you’re okay with that obstruction, it seems to work fine otherwise.I personally like the looks of the faceplate and the lights, but as other people mention, it’s a little larger than expected and if you’re sensitive to bright moving lights at night you’ll probably want to turn it off or point it away from you.I’m rating this 3 stars, meaning “average” in the sense that there is nothing inherently wrong with it and nothing in its functionality that makes it stand out (to me) above its competitors in the same $30 price range. But if you or a friend has an older car stereo and loves flashy lights and don’t mind fiddling with positioning the vent “just right”, this would work fine. I ultimately stuck it in my 18 year old’s car and he uses it all the time.

Title: Great for my older truck
Review: This Bluetooth adapter is great, it is having less issue playing music from my phone than my other one had. It has an extra charger for my devices. The bass boost is ridiculously boosted, but I was able to tweak the bass/treble in the truck radio to make it sound good. Not using the bass boost, the sound isn’t great, but you can do like i did and boost it, then re-tweak your car settings.

Review: I’ve ordered quite a few of these Bluetooth adapters for my car is over the years, and this is one of the better ones. There is very minimal static and I don’t get any bleed through from any other radio signal in the area. Very happy with my purchase.

Title: Great, affordable bluetooth option for the car
Review: I drive a 15+ year old car, so I need a bluetooth adapter to play music, podcasts, directions through my car stereo. I have been using a different one for years and it worked great, but broke. The previous adapter was all one piece, with a part that stuck up from the power adapter. This one has 2 separate pieces, which seemed weird, but i really like now that I’ve been using it for a while. The cord between the 2 pieces is long enough that I can put the control piece over the steering wheel and on the driver’s side of the dash (so it’s not right in front of my gear shift or blocking my main air conditioning source). The set up was very easy and it sounds as good as you would expect from a FM tuner. The volume is good, it’s not staticky and it connects easily. I tried it for a phone call and the sound is much better than my previous one (although my husband says there was a lot of background noise). I think it works better as a phone because you can put the microphone a bit closer to your face. If you need a bluetooth adapter for your car, I’d highly recommend this one. It’s easy to use and set up and works fairly well.

Review: We already had a similar device but we had a problem with it the signals from other people’s devices in their cars, as they drove past our car, or their car sat in traffic next to ours, constantly interfered with the radio signal. This meant we would often (at least 2 or three times even on short journeys) risk missing journey directions, or the signal cut out while we were listening to a favorite song.Not with this device. Firstly you have several radio signal frequencies you can choose from and additionally the device seems to benefit from using a bit more power than our previous one.As a consequence, so far, we don’t lose the signal and we don’t get the drop in the quality of the audio either. In fact the audio quality so good we’ve had to turn down the volume.I’m really pleased that we switched to using this device because it’s so much better than the old one and it’s really easy to set up following the instructions if you’ve never used a device like this before. In our case we could set it up very easily because we were familiar with similar devices.It’s a bit bulkier than our previous device, taking up a bit more space as it’s not just a single unit but nevertheless it doesn’t take up much space and we didn’t find it difficult to accommodate it.

Review: I got this for my daughter’s boyfriend who owns a mark 1 focus ST. At the age of 20. Bless his penniless heart. At least his car has something modern in the interior now. This thing could be sold for more in my opinion. It’s super handy. Easy to set up and works amazingly well. It turns the car hands free. Older cars have very little in modern tech and some of the modern tech has increased the safety of driving hugely. This can be used as a hands free kit, it can transmit your devices music to the car stereo and can work as a voice controller. All useful things that help a driver to be more safe. Once its set up it works so well. It’s a great little item that modernises pretty much any older car with a cigarette lighter. Nowadays they are more power supplies than anything else.It’s just a neat thing and it went down super well with the youngster. Top product worthy of the praise it is receiving.

Review: These FM adapters are great for older car sound systems which do not have bluetooth built in as they enable you to connect your phone using FM signals. You need to set this unit up and the car radio on an empty FM channel which is quite straight forward.What sets this unit apart is that the control panel is not part of the car plug which in my car is not in a convenient position when driving. This unit has the control panel on a wire so it can be placed in a more convenient place so you are not distracted when driving. The only issue with this is the lighting feature on this can be distracting when driving at night if you place it too central in your line of vision.This unit can control your phone and music in a similar way to most headsets, with features such as answer and hang up and music track selection.The unit also has fast charging outputs for your phone offering PD & QC3.
