Professor Evil and the Citadel of Time is a cooperative game in which the professor built a time machine to steal some of history’s most famous treasures and it’s your job to rescue them! He’s locked them away in his castle and devised a series of traps to keep them safe. Team up with your fellow adventurers to sneak into the castle and recover the treasures. Plan carefully and use your unique skills to unlock doors, deactivate the traps, distract the professor and stay out of his way. You’ll have to work together if you want to beat the professor.

Title: Great! Excellent quality! Fun game
Review: Instructions are a little confusing but after watching a YouTube video on how to play, the family loved it. We have young adult kids down to an 8 year old. My daughter was explaining this game to her older brother who is living out of the country and he completely understood and is excited to play when he gets home. We told my son we wished he was here because he is always the reader of the instructions and it wouldn’t have taken us so long to figure it out. But the 20 minutes spent on YouTube was worth it, because this game is fun. It’s different to work together rather than trying to beat each other. We bought the expansion pack and that is a must if you want everyone to play and have enough players.

Title: Fun game, easy to learn, easy to beat.
Review: I gave this game as a gift to a friend, this game is really easy to learn and pretty fun. There are a lot of reviews saying it’s hard to win but we played with 4 people and didn’t have much trouble winning. This tells me that the people writing the other reviews were either playing with fewer people (because they don’t have friends) or they weren’t using all the skills available (it’s just a skill issue). Overall very fun game!

Title: This is a fun family weight cooperative game
Review: This is a fun family weight cooperative game that we enjoy but seems to be stacked heavily in favor of Professor Evil. It is easy enough to learn especially if you are familiar with games like Pandemic but there don’t seem to be enough moves for the players and/or too many for Professor Evil. We found that we could have good cooperative strategies and still never get a single treasure and lose. Other times we would just be running around the Citadel and win. I love games with different mechanics and especially cooperative and this game has a great rondel clock mechanic that is easy to understand yet challenging. I would say that if each player had 4 moves each then that would balance out the game much more. We are going to try that and I’ll update and let you know how it goes. This is too fun a game to let something like that keep us from playing it.

Review: The game gets you sitting on the edge of your seat as the game progresses. It is a real nail biter. The game play is not too long but long enough to feel worth while. You get emotionally invested and really want to defeat Professor Evil. There is some randomness to the game that I do not love. That is just my game style. It is not a pure roll and go so do not let the randomness comment stop you from getting this game. The rules are simple and straight forward. People new to gaming will not have a hard time learning this. This is a good buy but it is a great present!

Mysterium und Andor als kooperative Spiele in der Familie und unter Freunden, diese beiden Spiele sind wesentlich aufwendiger in der Aufstellung und dauern pro Runde wesentlich länger. Es ist daher eine kürzere und trotzdem aufregende Jagd gegen den Professor Evil!Dass das Spiel zu zweit zu spielen geht, ist ein zusätzlicher Kaufgrund für uns gewesen. Einziger Nachteil (vor allem für die jungen Spielerinnen und Spieler) ist die Spielsprache: NUR Englisch, aber nicht schwer zu verstehen. Auch noch Lernen beim Spielen 🙂 …ABSOLUTE Kaufempfehlung.WUNDERSCHÖNE Grafik und Layout.Mit ein paar Tricks auf LEICHT und SEHR LEICHT (für Kinder) spielbar. (55-Minuten Schätze entfernen und für ganz leicht, den Professor bei 3-Herzen nur 1 Schritt ziehen)
