Title: Initial let-down… the next day hit with a huge surprise… Amazing improvement…
Review: For many years we’ve had ongoing issues with the quality of phone service we receiver at our house. Ranging from AT&T’s 2G to 3G to 4G LTE Wireless service to Comcast’s 4G LTE / 5G / 5G+ MNVO for Verizon, to T-mobile’s 5G service, it’s always been a let down in the center of the house. So, when I saw this booster for such an incredible price (I ordered one through Vine, two through personal purchases, because I had such high hopes), I couldn’t resist making the purchase.My thought process was simple: I have bad service at home… I can put this in on one side of the house, and another on the other side of the house, and it capture everything in and around the house… The house isn’t /that/ big, so I realized when I installed it on the first one, it’s not going to take a second. I’d also gotten one to put up at my mother-in-law’s house, so that she had improved service too.Now, I know what you’re thinking… “Why not just enable WiFi Calling?”… Well, I did. And it works pretty well, most of the time. But, from time to time, the internet goes out, and you’ve got no way to make or receive calls. Can you say frustrating?So my initial experience was… less than steller… I went through the process of mounting the antenna to capture the signal from outside, then running my cables over to everything, and placing the booster in the center of the house… my thought was that “It says 5000 sq ft, that should cover all 1400 of ours… Plus, I figured if it didn’t work, it was centralized and not overly essential — It’s not like it’s taking up a great deal of space. I got everything set up, powered it up, gave it a few minutes to find the signal and ‘stablize’… And then I tried some speed tests… They were just as bad as without the booster, so I was a lot bit disappointed…Then, the next day, I started to notice the change… I gave it time to fully sync up, and fully engage with my towers, and then it was just a matter of seeing how well it goes… And the ‘second-day’ feeling was significantly better.So my signal went from 1 bar, with no ability to make calls (at times), to 5 bars with the 5G+ logo next to it. My dropped calls have dropped off, my speed tests are awesome (I tested it a few times, from a few different locations). I downloaded the app to see what it could do but decided it wasn’t worth the additional registration processes to get everything they wanted in place. My signal is significantly higher, I’ve tested it even with internet outages (we had two last month, no impact to my call quality), and my calls haven’t dropped anymore.I’m really impressed with the one-antenna version, even if it is a slightly different model. I cannot stress how nice it is to have consistent service again.

Review: I’m trying to be fair to the vendor and the potential customers here. It’s too early to eval will probably come back to update eval if it works properly. The only reason I do these evaluations is to give opinions and help others. The quality of the antenna, wire, and booster doesn’t look exceptional but will say it works so far. Consider I just got it up and running so for these boosters one would need weeks to check service.It’s my opinion don’t waste your time with any of these signal boosters unless you install the outside antenna up high, close to or up to the FCC recommendation limits especially if you have trees and other obstructions. Over the yrs I’ve bought 3 of these from different vendors and they usually last two or three yrs if you’re lucky. Keep in mind I don’t pay 4 or 5 hundred for designer units.After careful placement of the inside booster and other devices to the best locations so far this unit is working in my metal garage with cautious optimism. The instructions manual is very limited but looking at the pics I surmised how to install it. I didn’t mount the inside items until I move them around a few times. My garage is very open so can see in a home it could be challenging to get the signal consistent throughout. Every situation is different but I mounted the outside antenna on 1-1/2 pvc pipe mounted it on the outside of my garage and clamped it so I can manually adjust or twist the direction left, right from the ground. I basically knew close to where my towers are so guessed initially and tweaked it later. Some may not want all this pole and antenna exposed but personally I want my cell phone to work!Before hand, inside my building I had one bar if lucky and service was slow as Christmas.So far now I may have 3 bars one minute and 1 bar the next. That May correct itself we’ll see. *It seems the service is much better, the speed is faster pulling up my apps. I don’t have internet service so the service has to rely exclusively on the signal coming from a tower consider that fact.I’m hoping, and praying a little too because it’s a lot of trouble to install these things correctly and effectively so those of you that don’t have the time or skills may want to hire it done. Review: 12,000 sqft shop, concrete walls with metal deck flat roof. 130+ db signal strength prior to install.We installed the antenna on the roofline of 2nd story, pointing at tower about 2 miles away.Interior signal is now 60 db… 5 bars signal strength with full data. My employees and myself are very happy.

Review: Living in a house on a hillside, the mobile phone signal is always very poor, especially when it rains or is windy, I can’t get a call at all. Last time when I made a video call at home, there was no dropout, I was so satisfied!
