Title: Very nice mini camera
Review: This Blink mini 2 was priced low, very affordable and so easy to set up. I bought this to watch the home care workers. The picture quality is very clear, and you can hear what’s going on. Hey, sometimes ya have to do what ya have to do! Very nice product and would buy again.

Title: Great cameras
Review: This will be my six camera I have added over the past couple years. They all work great and couldn’t be more happy with them. Picture quality is good and so is the night vision and motion is picked up right away.I do like that the new ones have a light that comes on with motion detection. That works well for around my farm animals pens to keep an eye on predators.

Title: Great picture quality and easy set up
Review: Bought this to help cover some unseen areas of the interior of my home. First off, the price was extremely fair. I have the first generation minis and compared to this, this takes the win. Upgrades I liked the most are the improved night vision. Very clear and crisp picture. In the chance you have low light and the night vision isn’t enough, there is the built in spot/flood light that provides wonderful lighting to see what the night vision couldn’t. 10/10 I would buy this again and if they took in trade ins from the older generation, I would trade in each one of my original minis and get the newer model.Only thing I personally think could be improved is a web based monitoring that can be accessed with a computer or smart tv.

Title: Great little cameras
Review: Great little cameras. Very easy to set up and perfect for keeping an eye on our pup while we are out. Also works great for sitting outside of a window for security since they have motion alerts and record. Worked so well I purchased a third one for our back yard area but when it arrived the box had been ripped open. For now I will give this 4 stars because they do work very well. The one star deduction is b/c I was going to ask for a replacement but it looked as if I would have to pay shipping back and just purchase a new one and I don’t feel that’s fair so I will keep this one since it’s just overlooking a wooded area. Should they contact me and pay for the return and replace with a new camera I will update to 5 stars no problem.

Title: Works great! I have several!
Review: This camera works perfectly what I needed it for. I purchased this to check in on my dogs through out the day and also for security. Works just as described. The video quality is great and also 2 way speaker so you can hear and speak through the camera. I would highly recommend this! I actually like it so much I purchased 2 more and several Blink Outdoor Cameras. They all work great and I actually signed up for the subscription. The indoor Mini cameras do not need a Sync Hub to use or work. You can just plug them in, connect to your Wi-Fi, download the app and BOOM your all set!I highly recommend if you looking for a great live camera!

Title: Easy set up, great quality, great price, easy to use.
Review: I got this mini camera to check up on my dogs seeing that I work a lot and this was perfect ! Easy set up, plugged in on my tv stand. I recommend you place the camera closer to your internet box and don’t have any obstructions near it. The sound quality will a great … my Shepard knew where the camera immediately when I put the light on … can’t go wrong with the price either .. I’m just glad I can now check up on my pups and say hi and hear them when I’m not home . I almost want to get a coupleMore for the other 2 rooms they tend to hang out in. Def worth it!

Title: Very good image quality and fast loading
Review: I don’t know what’s different about the Mini 2, BUT I have two Outdoor 4 cameras as well as one Video Doorbell and those other camera models take several seconds to load (10 seconds or more) when you want to do an on-demand live view, but the Mini 2 loads very quickly (usually within 2 seconds and it’s showing the live view, which is great). The issue is, if you don’t have a subscription that will save live view videos, if the camera is taking 15 seconds to load before you see anything, that makes it not so useful because a person hanging around your door may already be out of view, so you don’t get a good idea of what’s going on (why your camera was triggered). If you have a subscription, it WILL record the live view as well as motion triggered videos, so that’s not an issue…but it’s an issue if you don’t have a subscription. Anyway, my point is that unless something changes with a future firmware update to improve the live view loading time for the Outdoor 4 & Doorbell cameras, as of today, the Mini 2 beats the pants off those other models (it’s faster).The exposure (lighting) of the video with the Mini 2 is surprisingly good in low light even with the tiny LED light. I’m referring to the LED light, not the infrared light which gives you a black and white video, so I’ve decided to use the LED light so I can get color recordings instead of black and white. I have one of my Mini 2 cameras inside the house to watch a certain room (room is 15’x15′) and with all the interior lights off in the house and only the LED from the Mini 2 activated for video, I can see the whole room clearly in color, the image quality is good and the exposure looks good. I.E., if (God forbid) I ever did have an intruder in the house, I would have a very good description to give the police. The only downside to using the LED light is this will obviously get an intruder’s attention and they may try to quickly grab the camera and unplug it before the video gets to the servers (but hopefully the live stream is saved in real time so you’d at least get any video saved that was streamed – I’ll ask Blink about that to see how it works, if you have a subscription).The Mini 2 is weather resistant, so because I’m so pleased with the overall performance of the Mini 2 vs the other cameras I mentioned above, I ordered a second Mini 2 to use outside in my most high traffic area. I will be replacing the video doorbell with the Mini 2 and move the video doorbell to the door with the LEAST traffic. That’ll be a benefit in two ways. First, it will mean my video doorbell’s battery life will last longer since it’ll be in a low traffic area. Second, I’ll get better video quality and faster reaction times in my high traffic area. I ordered the weather sealed USB cable for the second Mini 2 I ordered and I have an easy way to power it outdoors, so the fact that it’s not powered by batteries is not an issue for me. I power my two Outdoor 4 cameras via a weatherproof USB power cord as well, so no batteries are needed. I’ll have 5 cameras total now (two Outdoor 4, two Mini 2 and one doorbell) and only one of them will need batteries (the video doorbell, in the low traffic area). That’s a big money saver since I don’t need batteries for the other 4 cameras. Regarding the doorbell, my biggest issue with the Video Doorbell is that even though you can use your existing doorbell power wire to trigger your old doorbell, you CANNOT use it to power the video doorbell camera 🙁 Blink really needs to update that camera (make a new model) so it can be powered solely by the old doorbell wiring (like my old Skybell camera can, but I’m retiring my Skybell camera).

Title: Overall a good, affordable security camera with many options
Review: The video quality is pretty good, and set up was fairly easy. It connected to the rest of my system just fine. The only thing is that I use it in my apartment to watch my parking lot out the window and the glare is just terrible out the window, which is to be expected, but it’s just hard to find a solution because I have to have the camera at an angle and the only Mount they have for windows requires the camera to be flat against the window. I’m going to get a black sheet to hang behind the camera so that hopefully it absorbs the light, but other than that, I have no issues with it. I like the Blink mini 2 model and I like Blink in general, although the older models have quite low video quality, but this one is better than my older models.
