Title: EXCELLENT for off-label uses
Review: I hated this product at first. It doesn’t lather. The description is misleading in calling it a body wash. For its intended use, it kinda sucks.However, this is the lowest cost/oz for a 2% salicylic acid (SA) product that I’ve come across, so I tried to think of other ways of using it. Turns out… 1) Makes a GREAT 1st step in a double cleanse for makeup removal. Provides gentle short-contact SA exfoliation. (It can sting around eyes so use caution). 2) Makes an AMAZING leg shave cream. Same idea with gentle short-contact SA exfoliation. 3) Makes a TERRIFIC foot mask. Same idea.For how well this product works for these unintended uses, at such a low price point for 2% SA, I give it 5 stars.

Title: Works Great!
Review: This cleanser is for sensitive, acne prone skin; fragrances and “lathery” chemicals can cause irritation and breakouts, which is why this cleanser doesn’t have any.If it’s smells medicinal, that’s because it literally is(for acne), lol, but I’ll take that over the grapefruit scents that smell like sour mop water. It’s medicated to fight acne while still being gentle on the skin, but I don’t smell much of anything with this.If you can tolerate essential oils,a couple drops of lavender and tea tree oil in this cleanser smell wonderful and they also have antibacterial properties so they can also help fight acne as well.As for the lather(or lack of), I like that it feels like a lotion instead and I mostly use this as an in-shower/bath mask for my face and body. Just slather it on(doesn’t take a lot either), let sit for a couple minutes and rinse off. I then wash from the neck down with my favorite Dove Go body wash(lavender and chamomile). Then after the shower/bath, I use a thin layer of a peroxide cream on affected areas and my skin is looking and feeling great.For $10 this is a great value. If I need a moisturizer for face and body, CeraVe Lightweight lotion works great for that.Edit about a month or two later: My skin is looking great, much better than it did before I found this!

Title: Pretty Good For The Price !
Review: Honestly, the bottle will last you awhile for the price you are paying. It’s a great deal. Though, most importantly, it does help with my back-acne. In the summer especially and with fragrance body washes, my back gets really oily. So I found that using this and then scrubbing with fragrance soap stops the oily feeling !!! Though, some negatives are that it feels and looks almost like a lotion, it doesn’t foam at all. I don’t know, but I have to use a good amount to just wash my back. It also has a pretty strong and not so nice odor, that’s why I use a scented body wash after. It just smells like chemically??? I don’t know, but that’s the reason I dropped a star, it really doesn’t smell good.

Title: Good for sensitive skin, smells awful though
Review: Seems like an effective product, but… it smells like rancid oil … kinda gross. And the consistency of lotion, it does not foam or make suds at all. All in all, just an odd product, but does what it claims to do.

Review: This is the strongest over-the-counter 2% Salicylic Acid acne wash available..Clogged skin pores are the chief reasons for acne and pimples. The agent opens pores and allows oxygen to aerate the skin..At $0.44 per ounce, it is the cheapest on the Amazon website.

Title: feels grooooosss, doesn’t lather, worsened my acne
Review: at first i thought wow, this is such a big bottle, it must be good value for my money! but then i tried to use it, and i thought maybe i’d made a mistake and accidentally bought lotion. nope, the bottle says body wash. it’s really feels exactly like you’re rubbing lotion on yourself and then rinsing that off, it doesn’t lather in the slightest. for this reason it’s difficult to spread and you have to use quite a lot to cover your whole body. it doesn’t leave you feeling clean after you rinse, almost like there is a residue on your skin, a little sticky and gross, very unpleasant. i guess that’s good for moisturization, but i really hate the feeling.i do not mind the smell, i think it hardly smells like anything (i often have fragrance allergy so this is appreciated). i usually use restoraderm by this brand for that reason. at least that one lathers, but it doesn’t treat acne so that’s why i’d tried this one…speaking of acne, my mild acne on my back and chest actually worsened after using this for several weeks – instead of having a few small red bumps, i have about twice as many, and they’re painful whiteheads instead of the little red pimples without a head.negative experience all around!! i am going to pour the rest down the drain.

Title: Works for me!!
Review: I used to use the Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Acne Body Wash, but saw this and thought I’d give it a try! No shade to that one, because it is a great product. I like that this one has no scent and I can mix it with another body wash seamlessly. I usually do this because this one doesn’t lather or foam very much at all. It also works just as well for me and my skin. I’m black and get breakouts on my back and chest, but while I use this they stay far away!!

Review: quantity is nice, i don’t have the problem that everyone is complaining about, it’s not hard to keep track where the product is on. make sure to keep it on for 5 minutes before washing. still relatively new to it only two weeks but still noticeable skin smoothness.
