Review: I purchased this sun shade in 2020. It has been up in 100 degree temps, direct desert sunlight, and high winds for 4 years. We do remove it during Winter in case of snow. We will be putting it back up for year #5 this coming Spring. Highly recommend.

Title: Good product, nice seams
Review: Bought these shade cloth tarps to soften a harsh light coming our way. They work well and have been fine with wind. They do sag/slouch over time so keep that in mind. You will need to tighten them up after a couple of months. Ours is vertical, but if you use it as a horizontal or angle shade cloth, make sure you have ample retightening space at the ends, we also bought hefty cinches which as recommended and they are strong quality.

Title: Makes a huge difference on my deck
Review: We have the world’s sunniest Colorado deck and haven’t enjoyed it as much as we should. This shade sail was the perfect solution! Installing took a small feat of engineering because we didn’t have anything to anchor it to and didn’t want to drill into the house. I found these umbrella pole holders that clamp to your deck posts, and then got 4 steel poles at Home Depot and some cheap pipe clamps to tie the strings to. The poles need to be thick steel so they don’t bend- you will apply a ton of tension to them to ensure your sail doesn’t bow. The umbrella pole holders were $65 each on Amazon so it was kind of expensive but all damage-free and very easy to install so it was worth it. The sail provides nice shade and it has held up very well during an entire week of rain and gusty storms with just the strings it came with (and very good knots).

Review: Ripped in multiple spots within a couple months. Before it ripped, it worked well, was a little thinner than I was expecting but kept the sun out for the most part. Came with one two ropes to tie it down, not 3 like I would have guessed.

Title: Perfect shade for kids play
Review: We used this on our deck for shade for the kids to play under. It was pretty easy to put up, but you do have to buy hooks separately. The 12×12 was not big enough so we stacked a 2nd one and it’s perfect and looks cute. It’s not super thick, so water comes thru but blocks the sun.

Review: I’ve not had this up for a very long time. BUT, so far so good. I’ve not had it a full summer. It takes the worst of the glare away, however if you are looking for a thick shade that actually casts a shadow, this is not it. I love it, because it doesn’t make everything dark and dingy. It gives me a little cooling, and as I say, it takes the glare off. It is well made and a good quality. I would recommend.
