Title: Work for zoom or phone calls from my mac.
Review: I got these to make my becoming-more-frequent zoom meetings at least half as annoying to my household. Now my family can only hear me (when I talk), not all the other folks yakking through my mac’s speaker. At first, I wasn’t sure they were working, but once I selected them form the mac’s audio dropdown menu my computer recognized them and switches to them automatically when I plug them in. Pretty darn good sound quality, too.

Review: it is perfect for what i needed – head sets to hook up to my laptop via USB for meeting through online platforms such as teams. the sound quality is good and headset comfortable. If I had to change one thing it would be the color of the cord – it is red which is distracting. I tuck it into my smock and it works. Good purchase.

Title: Fine sound quality; apparently high power draw
Review: The sound quality of the mic and headset seem fine. The physical control and indicator lights are handy, but the whole apparatus seems to have a high power draw; the control box gets slightly warm in use.

Title: disappointing product
Review: I use single-ear headsets for videoconferences on on my various devices. I bought a new tablet that has only USB-C, so I bought this item for use on it. (I otherwise use the basic Microsoft USB-A headset.)I selected this device because I thought I could trust Plantronics to make a quality product. Not so with this one. The sound was far lower-quality compared to my much cheaper Microsoft headsets, but I tolerated it. as it worked. For a little. Then it didn’t work. I ran all the troubleshooting (delete drivers, reset computer, etc etc.) but it got stupid and in frustration I threw it away.Just got a Jabra Evolve 2, which arrived today and is infinitely better. The plantronics is more comfortable, but I want a working headset and not some non-functional bizarre hair piece.

Review: I bought this monaural headset for dictation via my smartphone. My phone has an app that is connected to my computer, and I dictate through the app. I needed therefore a headset capable of connecting directly to my phone. This one ticks that important box. Then, I needed a mike that’s precise enough that my app “hears” me very well. With this model, I don’t have to repeat myself, the dictation is perfect. Second major box ticked. Then, it’s very light, and I wear glasses and the headset does not interfere at all with my glasses. Absolutely perfect. I would recommend this to anyone who spends a lot of time dictating. It’s really brilliant I think.
