Title: Stable connection; didn’t have to install driver per instruction
Review: Just plug it in and works right away! My PC is right next to a large metal safe box so the Bluetooth signal from my PC gets weak/interference from this metal safe and I have had a terrible time connecting bluetooth devices especially earbuds to my PC. This long Range USB Bluetooth did the job, no more bluetooth issue caused by my metal safe box!

Title: Great adapter, needs some operating system TLC to get working properly
Review: Right, so. The 5.3 version with the large external antenna is actually pretty awesome, gets good range and I’m not really noticing any delays in audio response, at least from my ears. Since there seems to be multiple products with different functionality, I’m reviewing this one specifically. For one thing, listen to the others; there’s something screwy with the drivers that requires you to uninstall the drivers for and disable the device for your internal Bluetooth, providing that the computer you are using already has integrated Bluetooth. If you don’t, this device will NOT install properly and the drivers won’t initialize. I would assume that if your BIOS has the option to disable the internal Bluetooth from the physical level, it will make setup a LOT easier. Currently having zero issues with the Microsoft “plug and play” drivers that come installed by default on Windows 10. I bought this to extend the range of the Bluetooth on my Ryzen HP Envy x360 laptop so I could stay connected even from across the house, instead of within a room, and this device has performed admirably for that purpose. Have had absolutely no issues with it while using my PowerBeats Pro earbuds, despite the usual quirks that Bluetooth has for headset-style devices being used on a computer instead of a phone (handsfree mode is still garbage on x64 OSes because it sounds like handset quality, can’t use hi-fi A2DP mode for both high quality “Stereo” and handsfree modes, have to disable one or the other to get functionality for a specific purpose (“Stereo” for music and high quality sound, handsfree for voice calls), etc.). Other than the above, once it’s working, this is a pretty awesome extender. I can literally stay connected even three rooms away with no signal dropouts, desyncs, or weirdness. I’d recommend this to someone who knows what they’re doing when it comes to OS-based driver nonsense.

Title: Promised Long Range But Couldn’t Make It Across The Room
Review: I was thrilled to upgrade my desktop with this USB Bluetooth adapter. The promise of 328 feet of wireless range had me dreaming of seamless connectivity for my headphones, keyboard, and mouse. What I got instead was a lesson in dashed expectations.Right out of the box, I noticed the adapter felt cheap. The plastic casing seemed flimsy, but I shrugged it off, thinking maybe the magic was in the tech inside. Installation was relatively straightforward, but that’s where the positives ended. The first time I connected my headphones, I noticed the audio cutting out. I thought maybe it was interference, so I moved closer to my PC. How close, you ask? Less than 10 feet. Ten. Feet. And it still couldn’t maintain a stable connection. So much for 328 feet of range.Next, I tried my Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. The lag was unbearable. Every keystroke and mouse movement had a noticeable delay. It felt like I was typing through molasses. And don’t even think about using multiple devices at once. The adapter seemed to have a meltdown trying to manage more than one connection. And let’s talk about stability. The adapter randomly disconnected several times throughout the day. I’d be in the middle of work, only to find my mouse frozen or my headphones suddenly silent. Restarting the connection every hour is not what I signed up for.The icing on the cake? This adapter claims to support Windows 11, but it caused my system to glitch. After installing the drivers, I experienced random freezes and crashes, forcing me to uninstall and revert to my old setup. The product description feels like a work of fiction. If you need reliable Bluetooth for your desktop, look elsewhere. This adapter is a short-range, unstable headache in a USB form. Save your time, money, and sanity.

Title: Just plug it in, and you’re done!
Review: Literally all I had to do was plug it into the back of my PC and the Bluetooth settings on the PC automatically were there. I bought this to use with my AirPods Max, and it works great. You can connect multiple things as well at once. I have my headphones, mouse and keyboard connected and it works great. 🙂
