Title: Works very well with Resound Phone Clip+ for Hearing Aids
Review: I purchased this to use with my multi-line office desk phone and my GN Resound Phone Clip+ for my hearing aids. I have Costco rebranded Resound hearing aids and bought the Phone Clip+ to use with my previous bluetooth phone adapter. That adapter died after some 8 years of use and I needed something to replace it as I do technical support on the phone for a small government software company. Although Plantronics said they could not guarantee that it would work with Resound hearing aids bluetooth, it is fantastic. It works better than the old Jabra I had that is no longer made. Plugged in between the phone’s handset and the phone’s handset connection, and the Plantronics bluetooth adapter plugged into the USB port, the Resound Phone Clip+ paired up instantly without even messing with it. All I need do is lift the handset off of the phone ( I did not get the auto lifter) and push either the big button on the hub or the button on the Phone Clip+ and I have full stereo phone calls directly into my hearing aids. The Phone Clip+ has a mic on the front of it.Audio both coming in and going out are crystal clear.

Title: NEVER WORKS GOOD.
Review: This hub is defective. I’ll be on a call and it disconnects and starts beeping on the other end. The USB for Bluetooth stopped working. No longer lights up. This item I purchased has been horrible from the beginning.

Title: “Pairing” is fragile, otherwise works well.
Review: I use this with a Bluetooth adaptor that “pairs” with a ComPilot for use with my hearing aid. It works pretty well, but the “pairing” is very fragile. I should be able to walk away and come back without having to re-pair, something that I could do with the older version of this device, but I can’t do that with this one without losing the connection. My “work around” is to remove the ComPilot from around my neck every time I leave my desk and then put it back on when I return. So far that has worked. It’s a hassle, but it works.

Title: Solid Hard/Soft phone switch interface.
Review: Maybe slightly pricey for basically a usb switch, but greatly eases the workflow for managing the connection from a USB headset to Hard/Soft phone. Intuitive and simple: Default is PC audio/Softphone (Giant top half button) and the giant bottom button can be used to pickup/Drop/switch to/from hardphone; basically a toggle. Same effect as pushing the headphone button on phone in my case, as I am using a EHS (electronic hook switch) rather than a physical handset lifter. Title: A few issues in the beginning but it’s working now
Review: I use the MDA200 with the SSP 2714-01 blue tooth adapter and a blue tooth headset. It took quite a bit of testing to get it set up without excessive echoing. Since then I haven’t had any trouble. I like that I can switch from the land line to a computer call.I did have a problem at first when I wanted to use the land line handset instead of the blue tooth headset. I thought if I pushed the button for a computer call the headset would be out of play for the land line phone. Didn’t happen. The indicator lights said the land line was on hold. I looked in the documentation and online FAQ and couldn’t find a solution. I called Plantronics (on a weekend) and got great support. The very patient and kind Plantronics tech asked if I had pushed the very large phone button to turn off the MDA200 land line connection. It seems obvious now. When I push the phone button on the MDA200, the light goes out and I can use the land line hand set.Be very careful about making sure your headset or blue tooth adapter is compatible. Not all headsets and adapters are compatible. Also be aware that this item does not come with a power supply. You can (and probably should) purchase a separate power supply. If you don’t, the MDA200 is only powered by a USB connection. If the device isn’t close to your computer or a mini USB power supply, using a long USB extension or an unpowered USB hub may not have enough juice to run the MDA200. I bought a power supply. Amazon didn’t have one so I bought it directly from Plantronics.

Title: Product Repeatedly Fails
Review: Got it. Worked as expected. Then, it failed within 3 months. I called customer support. They said this is a frequent problem and were happy to send out a replacement (since under warranty). Told me I had to pay for cost of shipping. Got replacement. It worked. Then, it too failed. They should just take this product off the market or fix it.

Title: Great item to share IP phone and PC sharing (Skype) in one headset or earpiece
Review: We are just switching over to Skype for business and I felt this would work great as a transitional piece. It is quite handy and will accept the USB Bluetooth piece with a wireless headset as well. This is a previous version but I saw no benefit to spend the extra money for the current one, when this is temporary anyway. I also bought the handset lifter (purely a fluff item but handy) and the Blue flashing light that tells people I am on a call. (no more stink eye pointed in someones direction 🙂 ) I am well pleased with the quality and the software for adjust ability for this item. I highly recommend.

Review: Used in combination with a bt-300Ssp 2714-01 Bluetooth Adapter Usb Bt300 W/ 8bit Security Key Bluetooth adapter to connect a Shoretel desk phone to Phonak hearing aids via a ComPilot. Never got to use the computer connection, it will not stream any sound from my computer in the current setup. For hearing aids users, it works wonder.
