Title: Perfect for the intended use
Review: I needed an external speaker for my mobile Ham radio rig. This is perfectly suited for just such a use. Arrived pre-dinged by some careless handler somewhere along the line but still functional.

Title: This little guy will Pleasantly fool you
Review: I was ready to return this when I saw the size it was. (small ) but curiosity got the best of me so I plugged it into a portable radio’s earphone jack and WOW it has a Big sound for its size. So instead of returning it I ordered a second. Now I have 2 for those quick needs for a test speaker or for mini stereo applications , CB speaker or radio speaker and more uses for a small profile extension speaker wich a full sound. Its a mono 1.8 phone jack. I ordered a 1/8/to RCA male adapters to expand its connectability even further..

Title: Works fine, but not for my needs
Review: I bought this hoping it would improve the quality of my Transceivers sound while driving. It did not make a difference to my ears. The speaker is fine, so I gave it 5 stars. But I will try a speaker with powered Volume, Bass and Treble controls to adjust for road noise.

Title: Sound?
Review: Sounds worse than the speaker in my Yaesu FTDX10. HF base station.. Its all high end… no warmth or lower midrange, might help in a mobile scenario.

Title: Excellent sound and construction
Review: Not a whole lot to say about a single speaker, but this one has a surprisingly good sound and the construction is really good. It’s not a Bose or fancy speaker, but it’s not supposed to be, nor does it NEED to be. It’s for voice/communication, and for the price, it’s fantastic.
