Title: Lightweight yet Sturdy
Review: The tripod is light, yet sturdy. Yes there is an expensive piece of gear up there….um spread out the legs. The ball head is easy to manipulate and stays put once locked in place. The legs telescope easily and lock fast. The tripod stays in place once situated and I’ve used for astrophotography and long exposure with great results. Seems very functional, and fits perfectly in the bag when you fold it just the way it came in the first place. ( reverse the legs over the ball head). Overall I’m very satisfied.

Title: A good value tripod
Review: After a lot of research, I chose this as my travel tripod for general travel, but also for backcountry landscape photography. It may not be as light as the carbon fiber options out there, but it also costs a lot less than those. It packs up small enough for me to secure it to a daypack. I like the lever locks on the leg segments rather than twist locks. From my initial use, it seems quite sturdy and the ball head locks up tightly. It supports my full-frame DSLR easily. I haven’t used the stability hook since conditions have not yet required it.The one thing I dislike is that I couldn’t get Manfrotto’s Arca Swiss compatible mount at the time of purchase. I had to get it as a separate purchase. So, now I have a Manfrotto quick-release mount that I will never use because my PeakDesign capture clips are not compatible with it. I would have preferred saving $50 by having the option for the Arca Swiss mount when I bought the tripod.My report on durability will obviously have to wait until I’ve used it a bit more.

Review: First impression Review.Not used to leave reviews but this is necessary for photographers looking for the first Tripod As I did. Struggling with brands, sizes, body material, and max load.First of all. Im 5′-6″ so I find this tripod “fine” for my eyeview. Im not saying perfect because it is fully extended, and I know for sure it loses sturdiness (but not exaggerating, riggid enough)… If you are taller than me you will find yourself bending a little to see through the viewfinder but it gets complicated if you’re shooting stars.As a reference, im carrying my D750+24-70mm and a flash trigger. The total weight was about 4.4 lb and the ballhead did not struggle at it, it holds it perfectly in place. Although the Ballhead knob feels cheap made of plastic, I must say This is Not a +300$ Tripod.Besides that. The body and style tell you got a well-made Tripod, sturdy and precise. I loved it.Can’t wait to get the carbon someday soon.Pd: Came in a fancy case(for those who care)
