Title: Just works!
Review: A Windows update tanked my PC’s Bluetooth 4 months ago, and I’ve been through every possible hoop in terms of downloading, installing, uninstalling, rolling back drivers, reading help forums and generally screaming into the void. I balked at the idea of spending money to replace a perfectly functional piece of hardware, but it just got to be too cumbersome to use wired-everything in my work. I had a 7 pm meeting today, this little adapter arrived in my mailbox at 6:58 and by 7:02 I was back to using my wireless mouse and earbuds and in the meeting. It is literally the easiest experience I’ve had: plugged it in and suddenly my system had Bluetooth again. That’s worth the price alone.No information on range or other technical stats as of yet, but it meets my needs so far. I’ll update if it should fall short.

Title: Improved range over the OEM adapter
Review: I added this adapter to my main gaming rig after the internal bluetooth / wifi card died. It not only work flawlessly, but it also adds a decent amount of range to my Bluetooth reception. Sometimes I stream music from my PC to an Anker speaker and now I can move the speaker anywhere in the house without it dropping the signal. I may actually buy another one to have as a backup because two is one and one is none.

Title: unable to get this working on windows 10
Review: i followed the instructions, tried many different troubleshooting steps and nothing works. If anyone can be of service, id greatly appreciate it. in device manager it is showing up as BARROT Bluetooth 5.4 adapter. Not what is shown in the instructions, I have tried to find another driver for it with no luck. Windows sees and recognizes i have a bluetooth dongle installed. but i can get it to see or recognize anything i want to pair with it.

Title: There is Nothing NOT to Like about thisBT Adapter
Review: Windows 11 Pro on a GigaByte z590 Aorus Water Force board. OEM Bluetooth on board sucked! Garbled and intermittent sound and voice and supper short range(~15′) drove me nuts. Disabled the intel bluetooth, removed all current bluetooth devices, shut down PC, plugged in this adapter to an available USB 3 port, rebooted PC. Repaired my bluetooth headphones in a heartbeat. They have worked flawlessly since, good sound quality and do not cutout anywhere in my house, about 60′ in my house but no issues at that distance! fixing or updating crappy bluetooth with this adapter is a snap, I would recommend!

Title: Weirdly… Damp
Review: Weirdly, this item arrived slightly wet. It was in a box with other items, which wasn’t wet. Other items in the box were also dry and had not leaked, including the wadded up paper packaging, but the box that had this item in it was decidedly moist–the box soaked through, the instructions wet, and the item itself had water on the plastic wrapping, a bit of which had penetrated to the actual device.I wiped it off, let it dry, plugged it in, and it appears to work fine, but there apparently is a leaky roof or a box of bluetooth dongles left out in the weather between the manufacturer and Amazon packing it up.I got this so I could listen to music/videos and walk completely around the house. I just experimented a bit and it looks good for that purpose. I don’t know how long it was wet or if that will have any effect in the long run, but it looks to be OK. Still, makes me a little leery, so -1 star for that. If it breaks, I’ll revisit.

Title: Work as advertised
Review: Installation file local set off my virus program. The exe or install files are in another country…. scan the files frist saw nothing so I install the files works as intended. My new computer (alienware R 16) have a weak cheap wtf BLUETOOTH device. I tired 3 different headphones and all had an issues connected to the computer. Never again will I buy from Alienware. Cheap parts!!!!

Title: Not Linux compatible
Review: Running Linux Mint on an HP Elite Desk. Doesn’t register. No Linux drivers could be found on their website or anywhere. Works fine in Windows but beware if you are a Linux user as the description does say Linix compatible.
