Title: Absolutely amazing camera if you learn how to properly use it!
Review: I’m a huge camera collector so I have all types of cameras ranging from different prices, makes, and sizes; this camera isn’t namebrand but it’s absolutely amazing!By now I’ve had this camera for over a month and a half and I take it with me everywhere and I use it every day. It’s super durable and I love the fact that you can take it underwater (another bonus is that it comes in a variety of four different unique colors). But the biggest shocker was definitely the quality of the pictures that it takes. 100% wasn’t expecting these shots to be as good as clear as they were. Now I will say they aren’t as good as a canon g7x, but its quality is right up there with it! I absolutely love all the settings, and that it came with a but it’s quality is right up there with it! I absolutely love all the settings, and it came perfectly equipped, and packaged with a battery, charger, sd card, wristlet and even a warranty slip to fill out just in case you need to send it somewhere to fix it. Another big plus is that the camera is actually a lot bigger than it seems! A lot of the digital cameras that I have previously purchased from Amazon are very small and have a small screen, this camera is particularly big for a digital handheld camera and the screen on it is massive! I absolutely love it and it makes it a lot easier to read through the settings and set it up.Now let’s get into the dual screen; the dual screen is absolutely a dream and is perfect for taking selfies. The quality is still the same and you can even film/Vlog using the dual screen without any issues. The battery itself I would say at least 2 to 2 1/2 hours with constant usage. I would also like to point out that you’re given a battery and a charger so then that way you can put the battery in and charge the camera altogether. Whereas there are some pretty big namebrand cameras that you have to continuously insert double or AAA batteries which is very wasteful and ultimately time-consuming; I would definitely say that that’s a plus over other cameras. Now, for cons, I will say that it doesn’t zoom extremely far like a canon camera, and the buttons look cheap. I also will say I didn’t like how the camera lens itself sits deep within the camera, but isn’t covered with any glass. It’s just kind of a hole with the camera lens and sitting deep in the camera.(so in my opinion, that makes it easy for the lens itself to potentially crack or get dirty with fingerprints and dirt) another thing I will say is that it doesn’t have a sports mode, but it does have a multishot mode, but the multishot mode is a lot slower than you would expect it to be. You definitely couldn’t use the multishot mode to take pictures of sports, if anything, at that point, I would just film at using the film setting on the camera.(like if you were trying to take action shots with sports for this camera, that wouldn’t be good, or if you’re just trying to take copious amounts of pictures, you would just need to pose slower). Another thing that I didn’t like but wasn’t a huge dealbreaker for me. Was that the on/off button for the camera was smaller than the picture button for the camera.(because it’s bigger instead of turning off the camera, I took several pictures just trying to turn it off)Honestly, though other than those cons, the pros most definitely outweigh the cons when it comes to this camera. Depending on how much you think an investment is, I would definitely say that this camera is worth it and that you should definitely think about getting his camera over an expensive namebrand one the next time you’re thinking about getting camera. It’s very durable it’s waterproof and it’s perfect for taking selfies, casual pictures and vlogging.

Title: expansive toy
Review: Minolta used to be a respectable camera company and it seems they have given up. This camera had lots of neg review but decided to take a chance, just because I am in need of dual display water proof camera. I have Akaso dual display camera but once you put it in the water proof case, making changes to setting is hard. As for this camera. It is very bulky for compact point and shoot. Compare to my 12 yo Lumix DMC-TS20 water camera 50% larger in overall size (30% larger and 2x as thick), weight compare to Lumix is lighter since this camera is all plastic, so this is not impact or freeze resistant camera. Even stamped on symbol was done shabby I cannot tell what the symbol means just blur. As many have complaint about the battery, I too cannot find any batteries to fit this (it seems NP6 might but its only 700ma). But my biggest issues are1. Battery compartment doesn’t close well and keep popping out thus not completely water tight. (useless for a water camera)2. Pic quality is really bad. Normal pic works, but taking a pic of a note from 12″ it came out so blurred, even with enlargement, nothing is readable. Same with any detail pic within 1 feet.3. Its slow. Buttons reaction times are so slow, if you take any moving object you will not get a good pic.4. Display screen resolution is awful. words are large Bold but not fine edge so it look blurish. My final verdict is, this is not diff than no name brand which cost $20 less, its same with only Minolta name on it, no Minolta technology.

Title: An awkward design and the Instructions are backwards
Review: I am just unpacking this camera and already I see a design weirdness. Why is the battery case and the charging port in the same encasement? Normally the charging port is by the side of the camera separate from the battery case. I used this camera and here’s my assessment. The good: Size fits in your hand comfortably. The good: the colorThe good: The company is very good with support, but they couldn’t help with my problem. The bad: You have to know how to operate this digital camera w/o instructions because the instructions won’t help. For example, how to format. It just says “format” the disk and doesn’t tell you how or what steps to take. You have to find your way around. The bad: The instruction booklet is totally incomprehensible. I had to find the manual online and print it in big letters vs. the tiny print booklet. The bad: Minolta is no longer in business and has been bought several times. I went to contact the seller and was told they don’t sell the camera anymore, they told me to contact Elite Brands and another company. The bad: The photo & video images are not the best. Not brilliant. This is a good starter camera, but not to be used professionally.

Title: Good camera for the money.
Review: Liked the camera BUT it could use way more instructions than it comes with. A bit of a learning curve and may scare a person that is not familiar with cameras. Not a great simple easy to use camera in my opinion. But if you master it, you will be happy with it Worth the price.

Review: Was back and forth on an Akaso or this Minolta. I wanted one more for still shots while snorkeling, not videos, so went with this camera as it captures at 48mps, not 20 like most action cameras.I’ve tested it in my saltwater pool, down to 8ft deep and the picture quality is great. Captures colours well and the 2.7k video turns out very good. Also, fun fact, the camera floats!Overall very happy with it and the large capacity battery that came with it. The only downside is one that’s common with any camera boosting a digital zoom, zoomed in pictures are not great BUT it’s waterproof without a case so that’s a tough critique, just have to swim closer and not zoom in 🙂

Review: Minolta has been in the business of making cameras for many years and this small digital camera fits a market niche well. With its bright red colour it looks very stylish and its compact size makes it a dream to use. And it comes at a fair price for beginners and enthusiasts alike. What a joy.
