Title: Buy it!
Review: What a sweet addition to my Nikon D5! Works very well and I love how fast it transfers the images to my computer! I can be out on location shooting and when I get back it automatically transferres the images to my computer! I’m waiting for Lightroom to update so I can shoot tethered. Well worth the money!

Title: Setting-up so complicated
Review: Still cannot use it. The setting up is so complicated. If Nikon also produced mobile phone it would get bankrupt for sure.

Title: Completes the D5
Review: Perfect fit for the Nikon 5. The alternative is bulky and cumbersome. This is little more than a small bump on the side. Nikon’s instructions leave out obvious answers to questions in setup but these are easily figured out. Hardest part is solved after plugging in and trying it out. On the field, there’s cell phone linkage but no wifi. Exactly what was needed for an access point to get sports shots to the people putting up the instant action sites. Confusing documentation takes one star off.

Review: With the D4 and WT-5 I could shoot all day with two cameras and not loose the connection between the cameras and the laptop, it was a rock solid connection; not so with the D5 and WT-6. After each shooting session (executive head shoots) the signal gets dropped and you have to reboot by turning off the camera and re-selecting the WT-6 wifi network- a real PITA. I have not purchased the second WT-6 to try the two camera scenario, but I’m assuming that it would not work at all. Everything in the process is the most current version on the Mac and the D5. Even though the D5 is a great camera, I regret trading the D4s due to this blatant shortcoming.
