Title: Great value
Review: Works Great for the sds200, looks nice and sound is crisp and clear. You will need to increase the volume on the scanner you have but because you do not need an A/C power and or battery as it draws power from the radio, the offset is not a problem.

Title: Works as expected
Review: I have a kenwood cb radio in my truck for work and am required to have an external speaker but the one provided is huge and won’t fit under my hood because I don’t want it displayed. This little guy is loud and does the job well

Title: Clear, Crisp Audio
Review: I ordered to compliment my Bearcat Scanner. I was not happy with its speaker, especially with nearby “louder” transmissions. The audio was often impossible to understand. I plugged this in and immediately noticed a fuller, crisper sound. My only observation is that I have to put volume louder than usual in order to get a good volume from this new speaker. The noise limiter button on top works, but it also lowers the overall volume. It actually is useless in my honest opinion. Overall, I like this and it makes listening much more enjoyable. Its built well and I love the idea of it bearing the “Bearcat” name. If your radio suffers with issues with sound quality, I do recommend adding this.

Title: Uniden (BC20) Bearcat 20-Watt External Communications Speaker
Review: So far, they work as advertised. My ears a no longer great anyways, but what I am hearing is a noticeable improvement over what was coming out of the parent device.

Title: Great product!
Review: Clear crisp sound. The speaker built into my CB is on the bottom of the unit therefore it sounds somewhat muffled. This speaker is directionally adjustable and has noise control switch. Great quality! 5 STARS!

Reviewer: This bear cat scanner speaker is well constructed. However, the volume on it is so low that it is it produces less volume. Then half of what the Bear cat scanner itself produces, and I was hoping if it was long enough, I sometimes have to work outside of my vehicle, that I could set it outside and hear it. That is not the case. Will not purchase again and like I said it’s well constructed, but you can’t control the volume.

Title: External bearcat scanner speaker
Review: The speaker itself is constructed quite well durable. However, it lacks in volume meaning the sound produced by the external speaker is less than half of what the Bear cat scanner produces. Was hoping to use it outside of my vehicle? No, good, will not purchase again. I learned my lesson.

Review: These are usually about £55 or more from the UK ham radio stores so £33.75 at Amazon was a steal. Bought to use with a Yaesu ft891 and icom 7300. Really good loud sound, no interference problems whatsoever in all modes at 100w. The speaker has a limited frequency range from 300 to 5000hz which is perfect for ssb and cw and reduces the unwanted noise. Solidly made. It has a noise suppression button on the top but the difference was only mildly noticeable. A good purchase at this price.

Review: Disappointed with the sound, expected voice output to be clearer but in this respect, it is no better than a normal speaker. Expected a custom made unit to have been better, especially given the price.

Review: After having issues with line noise on the front port with my logitech speakers i had, and it only coming out of one channel on the back port, ended up getting this speaker for my Uniden SDS200. Great little speaker, audio quality is great, hard to notice a difference with the noise reduction button but it does seem to help a bit with some transmissions, audio quality is great but it is def a loud speaker to keep the scanner volume low!.
