Title: Low quantity, poor quality.
Review: The container that these come in are absolutely tiny for the price, I was shocked when I opened my package! It was very disappointing. Initially, the mint part of these pellets is mildly enjoyable but not particularly flavourful. What’s underneath? Vile. I have had the actual root and it was much more pleasant compared to these pellets. Bitter without almost any actual flavour and actually made me nauseaus, and I usually adore a good bitter flavour, but without anything to actually taste? What a waste. This product made me reevaluate my purchasing habits on this site. I would only recommend this product if you wish to punish a child for biting other children, and find washing thier mouth out with soap to be an ineffective disciplinary measure. The layers of disappointment combined with the eventual dread they will have of this product will work wonders.

Title: Strong with great flavor
Review: I love these. I initially purchased them while looking for an equivalent product to sen-sen for my mom, who misses sen-sen since they were discontinued. These aren’t quite the same, but now I’m hooked on them. They really pack a punch, and the combination of menthol and licorice really works well together. Even the kids,who think Potter’s licorice/menthol bits taste like nyquil, think these are great.”These don’t taste like niquil, like the other ones do”- the kids

Review: These licorice pastilles are incredibly strong and satisfying… One goes a long way.Perfect for licorice addicts like me, but also great for someone who likes their breath mints, but are tired of the mint part.These are “expensive”, but an excellent value.

Review: I am a lifelong fan of Salmiakki, and was excited to try these. I was unimpressed. The flavor was acrid and disappointing. The licorice flavor is not forward enough, and the overall flavor was just a miss. Too bad.

Title: NOT a Sen-Sen replacement.
Review: I’m on the hunt for a candy that is similar to Sen-Sen. I hate black licorice but love Sen-Sen. I actually just finished an old pack, so the taste was fresh in my mind for comparison. This has reviews saying it was very close, so decided to try it. This “mint” (menthol/licorice) may look the part, and consistency is similar, but the taste is awful. So it failed and my hunt will continue.This is probably good for those who like straight and strong black licorice though.

Title: Now this is licorice!
Review: Ever since I was a little kid I loved licorice. That was when the licorice was made of licorice. As I grew up the quality of licorice in America went down hill. I found good licorice again when I went to England and Europe. But I live here. I have some good, real licorice but it was hard to find. Then I discovered these little gems. These Barkley intense licorice pellets are the thing. The taste is indeed intense just the way I remembered it. I have a feeling that the people who didn’t like the intense flavor or the lingering taste are probably much younger than my 78 years. If you like licorice and find these too intense give them a chance. You will have the opportunity to see what real licorice tastes like. Try them.

Review: I love liquorice at any time, but I was after pure liquorice to help with my GERD. I don’t know if this will do it. Time will tell.The flavour is all consuming. Don’t have one before food or a cup of tea unless you enjoy everything tasting oddly sweet and killing the flavour of everything else. The flavour lingers for quite a while and distorts the flavours of anything you consume afterwards. That said, given the price that’s good because they’ll last a good while.If you’re after a traditional candy/sweet style liquorice with a ‘regular’ sweet liquorice flavour this won’t do it for you. These are tiny little pure licuorice pellets. But otherwise it’s a good and strong flavour and also has the added benefit of supressing hunger pangs I’ve noticed…which may or may not be of use to you.

Review: Really good natural liquorice flavour, slightly sweet and no bitterness. Not as intense as I expected, just the same liquorice flavour I remember from my childhood but without the awful excess of sugar. I can easily manage 2 or 3 at a time but mindful that large amounts are not recommended try to stick to just one. Really tiny so even though small tin it is lasting really well, so overall very good value too.
